You can deal with some problems yourself, such as
a
door open or a discharged remote control battery.
For any other problems, such as a fault with the tyre
under-inflation detection system, contact the dealer
network or a qualified workshop.

warning lamp. Identify the cause of the fault using the message

The engine management system has
a fault. The catalytic converter may be destroyed.
Have it checked in the dealer network or by a
qualified workshop.
Fixed. The emission control system has a
fault. The warning lamp should go off when the engine is
started.
If it does not go off, contact the dealer network or a
qualified workshop without delay.

Fuel
Tank capacity: approximately 60 litres.
Low fuel level
When the low fuel level is reached
in the tank, this warning lamp
comes on in the instrument panel,
accompanied by an audible warning
and the display of an alert message.
When it first comes on, about
6 litres of fuel is left in the tank.
Until sufficient fuel has been added, every time
the ignition is switched on, this warning lamp
appears, accompanied by an audible signal
and an alert message. When driving, this
audible signal and alert message are repeated
with increasing frequency, as the level drops
towards 0 .
You must refuel as soon as possible to avoid
running out of fuel.
If you run out of fuel (Diesel), refer to the
corresponding section.
Refuelling
Additions of fuel must be of at least 5 litres, in
order to be registered by the fuel gauge. With Stop & Start, never refuel with the
system in STOP mode; you must switch
off the ignition with the key, or the START/
STOP button if your vehicle has Keyless
Entry and Starting.
Opening the filler cap may create a noise
caused by an inrush of air. This vacuum is
entirely normal, resulting from the sealing of the
fuel system.

opening of the fuel flap is heard.
This control remains active for a few minutes after switching off the ignition. If necessary,
switch the ignition on again to reactivate it.

persist after the third cut- off; this could
cause your vehicle to malfunction.
Your vehicle is fitted with a catalytic converter,
which helps to reduce the level of harmful
emissions in the exhaust gases.
For petrol engines, you must use unleaded
fuel.
The filler neck is narrower, allowing only
unleaded petrol nozzles to be introduced.

Manual parking brake
If excessive travel or a loss of
effectiveness of this system is
noticed, the parking brake must
be checked, even between two
services.
This system must be checked in the dealer
network or by a qualified workshop.
Electric parking brake
This system does not require any
routine servicing. However, in the
event of a problem, have the system
checked in the dealer network or by
a qualified workshop.

parking brake , refer to the corresponding
section.
Only use products recommended by DS
AUTOMOBILES or products of equivalent
quality and specification.
In order to optimise the operation of
components as important as those in
the braking system, DS AUTOMOBILES
selects and offers very specific products.
After washing the vehicle, dampness, or
in wintry conditions, ice can form on the
brake discs and pads: braking efficiency
may be reduced. Make light brake
applications to dry and defrost the brakes.
AdBlue® (BlueHDi
engines)
To respect the environment and ensure
compliance with the Euro 6 standard, without
adversely affecting the performance or
fuel consumption of Diesel engines, DS
AUTOMOBILES has taken the decision to
equip its vehicles with a system that associates
SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) with a
Diesel particle filter (DPF) for the treatment of
exhaust gases.
SCR system
Using a liquid called AdBlue® that contains
urea, a catalytic converter turns up to 85% of
the oxides of nitrogen (NOx) into nitrogen and
water, which are harmless to health and the
environment.
Brake pads
Brake wear depends on the style
of driving, particularly in the case
of vehicles used in town, over short
distances. It may be necessary to
have the condition of the brakes
checked, even between vehicle
services.
Unless there is a leak in the circuit, a drop in
the brake fluid level indicates that the brake
pads are worn.
