Clothes
hooks Safety

Clothing articles on the clothes hooks
can obstruct the view while driving. There is a
risk of an accident. When suspending clothing
articles from the hooks, ensure that they will
not obstruct the driver's view.'

Depending on the installed equipment version,there are one or two multi-function hooks in
the cargo area.
Retaining
strap A retaining strap is available on the left side
trim for fastening small objects.
Net
Smaller objects can be stored in the net on the left side of the cargo area.

on the right side of the cargo area.

V8
high-performance
engine General
information
With a 4.4 liter displacement, the V8 high-perj
formance engine generates a maximum power of 567 hp and a maximum torque of 553 lbft/750 Nm. With its spontaneous response bej
havior, a speed range of wide utility results. The maximum engine speed is 6,800 rpm and
is electronically controlled. Because of the
high engine dynamics, the maximum engine speed with the vehicle stationary is reduced.
Warm-up
During the engine warm-up phase, the V8 high-performance engine has a somewhatrougher running behavior because of the emisj
sion controls.
When the engine is cold, the exhaust system
has a slightly metallic undertone due to the naj ture of the system.

brake
The high-performance braking system has
perforated compound brake discs.
Because of particular structural characteristics,
there may be operation-related noises during
braking. The functional noises have no effect
on the performance, operational reliability, and
durability of the brake.
Drivetrain
The xDrive all-wheel-drive system establishes a permanent variable torque distribution to the
front and rear axles. The combination of xDrive and Dynamic Performance Control in this vehijcle ensures a high degree of driving dynamics
typical for BMW M.
With the activation of the M Dynamic mode,
dynamics and steering precision can be inj
creased even more in all speed ranges.
Driving
on
racetracksHigher mechanical and thermal loads during
racetrack operation lead to increased wear.
This wear is not covered by the warranty. The
vehicle is not designed for use in motor sports competition.
