You can us e the fvlfv/I as a W i-Fi hotspot to con­
nec t up to eigh t Wi-Fi devices to the Interne t.
While driving, res tricted use of unsecured , ligh t,
small wireless devices is only possible from the
rear of the vehicle .
Requirement: the ignition must be sw itched on .

The MMI Wi-Fi hotspot is deactivated at the fac­
tory. Sw itch the W i- Fi hotspot to

-On: the MMI Wi-Fi hotspot is act ive and v is ible
to other dev ices. You can connect your W i- Fi
dev ice to the MMI and use the Inte rnet co nnec­
t ion if necess ary.
- Off : the M MI Wi-Fi hotspot is deactivated. An
I nte rnet co nnect ion for W i-Fi devices is not
possible .
A WARNING

- To reduce the risk o f an accident, use t he
Audi connect Infotainment services with a
W i-Fi hotspot only in the rear seat when the
veh icle is in mot ion, or only when the vehi­
cle is stat ionary.
- It is only safe to use tablets, laptops, mo­ bile dev ices and other simi lar devices when
the vehicle is stationary because, like all loose objects, they could be thrown around
the inside of the vehicle in a c rash and cause
ser io us inj uries . Store these types of dev ices
secure ly while drivi ng.
- D o not use any wireless dev ices on the front
seats within ra nge of the airbags whi le dr iv­
i n g. A lso read the warnings in t he chapte r
¢ page 2 73, Front airbags .
-As the d river, do not allow usage of the W i­

Map orientation

2D heading up map /2D north up map : the cur­
rent vehicle position is disp layed . The map is ori­
ented in the direction of travel or to the north.
3D map* : the current vehicle pos it ion is s hown
on a th ree -dimensional map and is aligned to the
direction of trave l. At a scale of 62 mi (100 km)
and larger, the map or ientation is to the north.
O verview map: the entire route from the vehicle
position to the destination or the next stopover is
disp layed on the map . The map sca le depends on
the length of the route and adapts automatically.
The map is oriented to the north.
Route information
The display of route information, such as the cur­
rent street being driven on or points of interest
a long the current route

be switched on/off or can be minimized on the
display of upcoming maneuvers.
Automatic zoom
On :
the map scale is adapted automat ica lly de­
pending on the type of road being trave led (ex­
pressway, highway, other roads) so that you al­
ways have an optimal overview of the road ahead .
The sca le is also automatically adapted when
there are upcoming maneuvers to provide a bet­
ter deta iled view .
Intersection : when route guidance is active, the
map temporarily zooms in to a detailed scale

MMI map contents
You can switch the d isplay of additional informa­
t ion on the map in the Infotainment system dis­
play on or off.
The weather forecast is displayed on a 3 m i (5
km) scale on the map.

Storing tire pressures
Applies to: vehicles with Tire Pressure Monitoring System in­
dicator
If the tire pressure changes or a tire is replaced,
it must be confirmed in the Infotainment sys ­
tem.

of a ll fou r tires meet the specified values and
are adapted to the load

Run-flat ti res

A run-flat tire helps to maintain vehicle mobility
when there is a loss of pressure .

If the t ire pressure monitoring system indicates a
l oss of pressure in one or severa l tires, yo u can
contin ue driving on run -flat tires fo r at least 20
miles (30 km). Drive to an authorized Audi dealer
or authorized Aud i Serv ice Facility immediately to
have the problem corrected .
Continuing to drive on run-flat tires is n o
longer possible if
- there is visible damage to the tires, such as
cracks in the sidewalls .
- strong vibrat ions are felt w hile driving, or the
tire beg ins to smoke due to a strong build-up of
heat .
- the t ire was heavi ly damaged, for example in an
accident There is a r isk that parts of the tire
tread will detach and damage important ve hi­
cle components .
- the E lectron ic Stab ilizat ion Control (ESC) is not
work ing or is cont inuously r unning .
- the t ire pressure monitoring system is not
work ing .
If it is no longer poss ible to continue driving de­
spite hav ing run-flat tires, see an author ized Audi
dealer or author ized Audi Service Fac ility for as­
s istance.

R un-f lat t ires may only be used on vehicles
that we re equipped with them at the fa ctory.
- The vehicle must have suspens ion designed
for run-flat tires and a facto ry-installed tire
p ress ure mo nitor ing syste m.
- I nco rrect use of r un-f lat t ires can lead to ve­
h icl e damage o r accidents. Contact an au­
thor ized A udi dealer or au thori zed A udi
Serv ice Facili ty to lear n if r un-f la t tir es may
be used on you r vehicle an d if so, which
ones.
- If r un-fla t ti re s are used, they m ust be in ­
stalled on all fo ur whee ls. Mix ing ti re types
is not permitted.
