Do not direct the air vents toward the hands-free
microphone, which is on the roof headliner near
t h e front inte rior lights .
Only use the system from the dr iver's seat be

A WARNING
-Direct your full attention to dr iv ing. As the
driver, you have complete responsibility for
safety in traffic . Only use the functions in
such a way that you a lways maintain com
p lete contro l over your vehicle in all traffic
situations.
-Do not use the voice recognition system in
emergencies beca use your voice may change
in stressful situations. It may take longer to
d ial the number or the system may not be
able to dial it at all. Dial the emergency
number manually.
@ Tips
- The d ialog pauses when there is an incom
ing phone call and will continue if you ig
nore the call. The d ialog ends if you answer
the ca ll.
- You can select an item in the list using ei
ther the vo ice recognit ion system or the
cont rol knob .

type of connect ion:
-Answering an addit ional call: if there is an in
coming call while another call is active, you can
select Answer to put the existing ca ll on hold
and answer the incoming call . If you select De·
cline , the incoming call will be declined .
-Accepting an incoming call when there is an ac
tive call and a call on ho ld: select Replace. The
active call is replaced with the incoming call.
-Muting the incoming call: select and conf irm
Mute .
-Additional call : select: Find co ntac t > Call li st /

Mute : if you select and confirm this function, the
other person on the phone cannot hear you. You
can hear the other person. To turn the micro

would like to resume.
Tran sfer c all to mobile de vice*: select and con

phone. Se lect and confirm Switch t o hands-free
mode to transfer the call from your cell phone
back to the MMI.
Swap call : alternate between two phone calls
while one of the calls is on hold. Se lecting End
c a ll will end the active phone ca ll. A phone ca ll on
ho ld can be resumed using the right cont ro l but
