 When stopping the vehicle for a long
period of time, shift the shift lever to P. The
battery cannot be charged with the shift
lever in N.
Indicates a malfunction in the hybrid system

 Immediately stop the vehicle in a safe place
and contact your Toyota dealer.
Indicates a malfunction in the EPS (Electric
Power Steering) system A buzzer also sounds.
 Have the vehicle inspect ed by your Toyota
dealer.
Indicates that the vehicle is being driven at 3 mph (5
km/h) or more with the parking brake still engaged
A buzzer also sounds.
 Release the parking brake.

If the windshield wipers are on, turn them
off or set them to a mode other than high
speed wiper operation.

Indicates that the LDA (Lane Departure Alert)
system is suspended (The camera sensor tem-
perature is higher than the operation temperature

 Restart the LDA after driving for a while.

Indicates that a Blind Spot Monitor sensor or the
surrounding area on the bumper is dirty or cov-
ered with ice

Press the “ON-OFF” button once to deactivate

Indicates a malfunction in the tire pressure
warning system
Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn
the power switch off then on again.
If the tire pressure warning indicator
flashes for 1 minute then illuminates,
there is a malfunction in the system.
Have the vehicle inspected by your
Toyota dealer.
(If equipped)
Indicates that the tire position information can-
not be recognized
 Drive for a short while and check if the
display updates.
If the radio wave conditions improve, the
display may return to normal. If the tire
pressure is still not displayed after driv-
ing for several minutes, stop the vehicle
in a safe place, turn the power switch off
then on again, and start driving.
If the tire pressure is still not displayed
even after repeating this process several
times, have the vehicle inspected by your
Toyota dealer.
Indicates that the hybrid battery (traction battery)
is low.
 Immediately stop the vehicle in a safe
place. Turn the power switch off and then
to ON mode to rest art the hybrid system.
Ensuring the shift lever is in P, charge the
hybrid battery (traction battery).

Indicates that the washer fluid level is low
Add washer fluid.
Indicates that remaining fuel is approximately 2.6
gal. (9.7 L, 2.1 Imp. gal.) or less
Refuel the vehicle.
Indicates that the TRAC (Traction Control) sys-
tem has been deactivated
Turn the TRAC on. ( P. 219)

Indicates that all maintenance according to the
driven distance on the maintenance schedule*1
should be performed soon.
Comes on approximately 4500 miles (7200 km)
after the message has been reset.
 If necessary, perform maintenance.

Indicates that all maintenance is required to cor-
respond to the driven distance on the mainte-
nance schedule*

brake system operation is stopped

or the sensor is dirty
 Check the grille cover and the sensor and
clean them if they are dirty.
