Turning off Traction Control System :
To turn the TR AC system off, quickly press and
release the button.
The Traction Control System OFF indicator light will
come on.
Press the button again to turn the system back on.
Turning off both Traction Control System and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) systems:
To turn the TR AC and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) systems
off, press and hold the Vehicle stability control (VSC)/TR AC
off switch for more than 3 seconds while the vehicle is stopped.
However, on vehicles with an automatic transmission, the brake
LSD function will remain on. Press the button again to turn the
systems back on.
Selecting a driving mode
By pressing the driving pattern selector switch,
the following modes can be selected to suit
driving and usage conditions:

Normal mode

Sport mode:
The SPORT indicator comes on. Use sport mode for sporty driving or when driving in
mountainous regions with lots of curves.

Snow mode:
The SNOW indicator comes on. Use snow mode for accelerating and driving on slippery
road surfaces such as snow.
To cancel sport mode or snow mode, press the same side of the switch again. Quickly press

TR ACK switchD
Press the switch to activate the TR ACK mode.
The TR ACK indicator and Vehicle stability control (VSC)
off indicator come on when in TR ACK mode.
To change back to normal mode while in TR ACK mode,

Your vehicle is equipped with two types of control modes to accommodate various driving
preferences. The control modes can be selected with the
TR ACK switch.
Normal mode allows secure and smooth normal driving.
When the switch is pressed and held for 1 second or more, TR ACK mode is activated.
Control characteristics such as the Vehicle stability control (VSC) and TR AC are adjusted
to afford maneuverability closer to what a driver may desire, while a sense of security is
retained.
Modes can be selected to suit your driving conditions as follows:

Charging system warning
Indicates a malfunction in the
vehicle’s charging system.
ABS warning
Indicates a malfunction in:
• The ABS;
• The brake assist system.
Low engine oil pressure warning
Indicates that the engine oil
pressure is too low.
Electric power steering warning
Indicates a malfunction in the
electric power steering system.
Driver’s seatbelt reminder
Warns the driver to fasten his/
her seatbelt.
Front passenger’s seatbelt reminder
Warns the front passenger
to fasten his or her seatbelt.

Open door warning
Indicates that a door or the trunk
lid is not fully closed.
Low fuel level warning
Fuel level is low.

SRS airbag system warning

Indicates that the automatic transmission fluid temperature is too high.
Keyless access with push button start system indicator (if equipped)
Flashing in YELLOW : Indicates a malfunction in the keyless
access with push button start system.
Illumination in GREEN : The keyless access with push button start
system is activated.

Cruise Control indicator
lllumination in YELLOW : Indicates a malfunction in the cruise
control system.
Illumination in GREEN : The cruise control system is activated.

Slip indicator
Illumination : Indicates a malfunction in the TR AC/ Vehicle stability control (VSC)
system or the hill start assist system.
Flashing : The TR AC/ Vehicle stability control (VSC) system are operating.
Automatic headlight leveling system warning
Indicates a malfunction in the automatic headlight leveling system.
High engine coolant temperature warning
Indicates that the engine is almost overheating.
As the engine coolant temperature increases,this warning light will change from
flashing to constantly illuminated.
Master warning
The master warning light also comes on or flashes in order to indicate that a
message is currently being displayed on the multi-information display.
