Your Uconnect system may also have a Screen Off and Back
buttons on the faceplate.
Push the Screen Off button on the faceplate to turn off the
Uconnect screen. Push the Screen Off button on the face-
plate a second time to turn the screen on.
Push the Back button on the faceplate to exit out of a Menu
or certain option on the Uconnect system.
Buttons On The Touchscreen
Buttons on the touchscreen are accessible on the Uconnect
display.
Customer Programmable Features/Personal
Settings
Push the Settings button on the faceplate to display the
menu setting screen. In this mode the Uconnect system
allows you to access programmable features that may be
equipped such as Display, Clock & Date, Safety & Driving
Assistance (if equipped), Lights, Doors & Locks, Audio,
Phone/Bluetooth, SiriusXM Setup (if equipped), Restore
Settings and Clear Personal Data.NOTE:
•
Only one category may be selected at a time.
• The Back arrow will change into a Done button if any
changes are made.
When making a selection, press the button on the touch-
screen to enter the desired mode. Once in the desired
mode, press and release the preferred setting. Once the
setting is complete, either press the Back Arrow button on
the touchscreen or the Back button on the faceplate to
return to the previous menu or press the X button on the
touchscreen to return to the Main Settings screen. Pressing
the Up or Down Arrow buttons on the touchscreen on the
right side of the screen will allow you to toggle up or down
through the available settings.

Front Defrost Button
Press and release to change the current airflow setting to Defrost mode. The indicator illuminates
when this feature is ON. Air comes from the windshield and side window demist outlets. When the
defrost button is selected, the blower level will increase. Use Defrost mode with maximum tempera-
ture settings for best windshield and side window defrosting and defogging. Performing this func-
tion will cause the ATC to switch into manual mode. If the front defrost mode is turned off the cli-
mate system will return the previous setting.
Rear Defrost Button
Push and release the Rear Defrost Control button to turn ON the rear window defroster and the
heated outside mirrors (if equipped). An indicator will illuminate when the rear window defroster is
ON. The rear window defroster automatically turns OFF after 10 minutes.
Temperature Control
Use this control to regulate the temperature of the air inside the passenger compartment. Rotating the
knob counterclockwise, from top center into the blue area of the scale, indicates cooler temperatures.
Rotating the knob clockwise, into the red area, indicates warmer temperatures.
Blower Control
There are seven blower speeds. Use this control to regulate the amount of air forced through the sys-
tem in any mode you select. The blower speed increases as you move the control clockwise from the
OFF position.
NOTE:Depending on the configuration, your vehicle may be equipped with four blower speeds.

3. Align the valve notch in the wheel cover with the valvestem on the wheel. Install the cover by hand, snapping
the cover over the two wheel bolts. Do not use a
hammer or excessive force to install the cover.
4. Install the remaining wheel bolts with the threaded end of the wheel bolt toward the wheel. Lightly tighten the
wheel bolts.
WARNING!
To avoid the risk of forcing the vehicle off the jack, do
not tighten the wheel bolts fully until the vehicle has
been lowered. Failure to follow this warning may
result in personal injury.
5. Lower the vehicle to the ground by turning the jack handle counterclockwise.
6. Finish tightening the wheel bolts. Push down on the wrench while holding at the end of the handle for
increased leverage. Tighten the wheel bolts in a star
pattern until each wheel bolt has been tightened twice.
Refer to “Torque Specifications” in this section for
correct wheel bolt torque. 7. After 25 miles (40 km) check the wheel bolt torque with
a torque wrench to ensure that all wheel bolts are
properly seated against the wheel.
JUMP-STARTING PROCEDURES
If your vehicle has a discharged battery it can be jump-
started using a set of jumper cables and a battery in another
vehicle or by using a portable battery booster pack. Jump-
starting can be dangerous if done improperly so please
follow the procedures in this section carefully.
NOTE: When using a portable battery booster pack follow
the manufacturer ’s operating instructions and precautions.
WARNING!
Do not attempt jump-starting if the battery is frozen. It
could rupture or explode and cause personal injury.
CAUTION!
Do not use a portable battery booster pack or any other
booster source with a system voltage greater than 12
Volts or damage to the battery, starter motor, alternator
or electrical system may occur.
