The Uconnect system uses a combination of buttons on the
touchscreen and buttons on the faceplate located on the
center of the instrument panel that allows you to access
and change the customer programmable features. Many
features can vary by vehicle.

Clear Personal Data
After pressing the “Clear Personal Data Settings” button on the touchscreen, the following settings will be available:

NOTE:
When this feature is selected it will remove all personal data including Bluetooth devices and presets. If “Yes” is
selected a pop-up will appear asking Are you sure you want to clear all personal data?” select “Yes” to Clear, or
“Cancel” to exit.

IPOD/USB/MP3 CONTROL — IF EQUIPPED
Located inside the center console upper lid, this feature
allows an iPod or external USB device to be plugged into
the USB port.
iPod control supports the following: iPod/iPod classic,
iPod mini, iPod nano, iPod shuffle, iPod touch, and iPhone
devices. Some iPod software versions may not fully sup-
port the iPod control features. Please visit Apple’s website
for software updates.

Media
Uconnect offers connections via USB, Bluetooth and auxil-
iary ports (If Equipped). Voice operation is only available
for connected USB and iPod devices. (Remote CD player
optional and not available on all vehicles.)
Push the VR button
. After the beep, say one of the
following commands and follow the prompts to switch
your media source or choose an artist.
• Change source to Bluetooth
• Change source to iPod
• Change source to USB
• Play artist Beethoven; Play album Greatest Hits; Play
song Moonlight Sonata; Play genreClassical TIP:
For the Uconnect 3.0, Uconnect 5.0 and 8.4/8.4 NAV
systems, select Browse to see all of the music on your iPod
or USB device. Your Voice Command must match exactly
how the artist, album, song and genre information is
displayed.
