6-2.2 Removal Procedure
1. Discharge high-voltage battery. Refer to 3-3 Discharge Procedures (DG–19).

Remove the service plug. Refer to Alternate Procedure 2 (Remove Service Plug) (DG–29).DANGER
Immediately protect the terminals of the disconnected high-voltage harness connector
socket
using insulated tape so that they are not exposed.
3. Fully open back door.
4. Open the storage box lid.
5. Lift rear end of rear luggage board (2)and remove front luggage board belt (1)from rear luggage
board, and then remove rear luggage board.
6. Remove front luggage board fixing clips (A).
7. Lift rear end of front luggage board and slide it towards vehicle rear according to numerical order 1 2indicated
by arrows as shown in the figure, and then remove

13. Loosen high-voltage harness connector nut
(A), then
remove harness clamp (C)and disconnect high-voltage
harness connector (B). DANGER

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will

Immediately protect the terminals of the disconnected high-voltage harness connector
socket
using insulated tape so that they are not exposed.
NOTE:
High-voltage harness connector mounting nut (A) is fixed to the connector to prevent the nut
from dropping. 14. Disconnect harness connector (D)from high-voltage battery, then remove harness clamp (E).DANGER
Immediately protect the terminals of the disconnected high-voltage harness connector
socket
using insulated tape so that they are not exposed.
15. Disconnect 12-volt battery positive terminal (1)from
DC/DC converter using the following step. a. Remove nut (A), then release harness clamp (B)
from high-voltage battery. : Vehicle front

Disconnect DC/DC converter harness connector (A),
then release harness clamp (B).DANGER

20. Remove gas vent hose
(A)from floor panel(B). If gas vent hose is disconnected at the high-voltage
battery
assembly side, this allows easy access to the
inside of high-voltage battery assembly. To prevent this,
always disconnect gas vent hose at the insertion part
on the vehicle body side.
21. Remove bolts (A, B)and high-voltage battery (1). : Vehicle front

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will
cause electrocution. To avoid personal injury, when removing
the
high-voltage battery, two people are required.
22. Confirm that the insulated tape is still securely in place on the high-voltage battery.
23. Dismantling the remainder of the Rogue HYBRID may be performed like conventional Nissan vehicles once the
high-voltage system is properly shut down and
discharged.

The high-voltage battery is recyclable. For information regarding recycling of the high-voltage battery, it is
