Indicates a malfunction in the smart access system with
push-button start

→ Have the vehicle inspected by your Lexus dealer.

Indicates that a Blind Spot Monitor sensor or the sur-
rounding area on the bumper is dirty or covered with ice
A buzzer also sounds.
→ Clean off the dirt, snow, ice, etc. and drive the vehi-
cle with the operation conditions of the BSM func-
tion ( →P. 278) satisfied for approximately 10
minutes. If the warning me ssage does not disappear,
the sensor may be misaligned. Have the vehicle
inspected by your Lexus dealer.
Indicates a malfunction in the dynamic radar cruise con-
trol system
Press the “ON/OFF” button once to deactivate the
system, and then press the button again to reactivate
the system.
A buzzer also sounds.

Alert with steering control) systemA buzzer also sounds.
→ Have the vehicle inspected by your Lexus dealer.
The operation conditions of the camera sensor (tem-
perature, etc.) are not met.
→When the operation conditions of the camera sen-
sor (temperature, etc.) are met, the following sys-
tems will become available.
• PCS (Pre-Collision System)
• LDA (Lane Departure Alert with steering control) system
•Automatic High Beam
Indicates that the system is temporarily unavailable due
to a malfunction in a sensor other than the camera sen-
sor
A buzzer also sounds.
→ Turn the LDA (Lane Departure Alert with steering
control) system off, wait for a little while, and then
turn the LDA (Lane Depart ure Alert with steering
control) system back on.
Dirt, rain, condensation, ice, snow, etc., are present on
the windshield in front of the camera sensor. The following systems will be temporarily unusable.
• PCS (Pre-Collision System)
• LDA (Lane Departure Alert with steering control) system
•Automatic High Beam
→ Turn the system off, remove any dirt, rain, condensa-
tion, ice, snow, etc., from the windshield, and then
turn the system back on.

The warning message illustrations used are intended as examples, and may differ from
the image that is actually displaye d on the multi-information display.
■Warning message in radar cruise mode
In the following situations, the warning message may not be displayed even if vehicle-to-
vehicle distance decreases:
●When the speed of the preceding vehicle matches or exceeds your vehicle speed
●When the preceding vehicle is traveling at an extremely slow speed
●Immediately after the cruise control speed was set
●At the instant the accelerator pedal is depressed
■The LDA (Lane Departure Alert with steering control) lane departure warning func-
tion
In the following situations, th e warning message will not be displayed even if a lane line is
crossed.
●When the vehicle speed deviates from the operating range of the LDA system func-
tions ( →P. 232)
●When the lane lines cannot be recognized ( →P. 234)
■Resetting the message indicating ma intenance is required (if equipped)
Make sure to reset the oil change system. ( →P. 454, 468)
■Conditions that the tire pressure wa rning system may not function properly
