Vehicles with Adaptive Variable Suspension system
Normal mode/Customized mode
Normal mode and customized mode are selected by pressing the driving mode select
switch. Each time the switch is pressed, the driving mode changes between normal
mode and customized mode. When customized mode is selected, the “Customize” or
“CUSTOMIZE” indicator will be illuminated.
Press the switch to change the driving mode to normal mode when selected to Eco
drive mode or sport mode.
• Normal mode For normal driving.
• Customized mode Allows you to drive with the power train, chassis and air conditioning system functions
set to your preferred settings.
Customized mode settings can only be changed on the drive mode customization
display of the Remote Touch screen.

Eco drive mode
Use Eco drive mode to help achieve low fuel consumption during trips that involve fre-
quent accelerating.
When not in Eco drive mode and the driving mode select switch is turned to the left, the
“ECO” or “ECO MODE” indicator comes on in the multi-information display.
Sport mode
•SPORT S mode Assists acceleration response by cont rolling the transmission and engine.
When not in SPORT S mode and the driving mode select swit ch is turned to the right,
the “SPORT S” indicator comes on in the multi-information display.
•SPORT S+ mode Helps to ensure steering performance and driving stability by simultaneously control-
ling the steering and suspension in addition to the transmission and engine. Suitable
for sporty driving.
When in SPORT S mode and the driving mode select switch is turned to the right, the
“SPORT S+” indicator comes on in the multi-information display.2

To adjust or select settings, move the Remote Touch knob to select the screen button,

The light will turn off after a few minutes. In cas e the light does not turn off even if the tire

■Starting the engine
Ensure that the shift lever is in P and
depress the brake pedal.
Touch the Lexus emblem side of the
electronic key to the engine switch.
When the electronic key is detected,
a buzzer sounds and the engine
switch will turn to IGNITION ON
mode.
When the smart access system with
push-button start is deactivated in
customization setting, the engine
switch will turn to ACCESSORY
mode.
Firmly depress the brake pedal and
check that is shown on the
multi-information display.
Press the engine switch.
In the event that the engine still cannot be started, contact your Lexus dealer.1

If the electronic key battery becomes depleted , replace it with a new battery. For instruc-
