•The Smart Trunk function will not
work if any of the following oc‐
curs:
-The smart key is close to a ra‐
dio transmitter such as a radio
station or an airport which can
interfere with normal operation
of the transmitter.
-The smart key is near a mobile
two way radio system or a cel‐
lular phone.
-An other vehicle's smart key is
being operated close to your
vehicle.
•The detecting range may decrease
or increase when:
-One side of the vehicle is raised
to replace a tire or to inspect
the vehicle.
-The vehicle is slantingly parked
on a slope or unpaved road, etc.

•The wireless charging will stopwhen using the wireless smart keysearch function to prevent radiowave disruption.
•The wireless charging will stopwhen the smart key is moved outof the vehicle with the ignition inON.
•The wireless charging will stopwhen any of the doors is opened(applicable for vehicles equippedwith smart keys).
•The wireless charging will stopwhen the vehicle is turned OFF.
•The wireless charging will stopwhen the smart phone is not incomplete contact with the wirelesscharging pad.
•Items equipped with magneticcomponents such as credit card,telephone card, bankbook, anytransportation ticket and suchmay become damaged duringwireless charging.

•Place the smart phone on the cen‐ter of the charge pad for best re‐sults. The smart phone may notcharge when placed near the rimof the charging pad. When thesmart phone does get charged, itmay heat up excessively.
•For smart phones without built inwireless charging system, an ap‐propriate accessory has to beequipped.
•Smart phones of some manufac‐turers may display messages onweak current. This is due to theparticular characteristic of thesmart phone and does not imply amalfunction on wireless chargingfunction.
•The indicator light of some manu‐facturers’ smart phones may stillbe yellow after the smart phone isfully charged. This is due to theparticular characteristic of thesmart phone and not a malfunc‐tion of the wireless charging.

•When any smart phone without awireless charging function or ametallic object is placed on thecharging pad, a small noise maysound. This small sound is due tothe vehicle discerning compatibilityof the object placed on the charg‐ing pad. It does not affect your ve‐hicle or the smart phone in anyway.
