You can use the keypad to do thefollowing:
•Lock or unlock the doors.
•Release the luggage compartment.
•Recall memory seat and mirrorpositions.
•Program and erase user codes.
•Arm and disarm the anti-theft alarm.
You can operate the keypad with thefactory-set five-digit entry code. The codeis on the owner’s wallet card in the glovebox and is available from an authorizeddealer. You can also program up to five ofyour own five-digit personal entry codes.
Programming a Personal Entry Code
1. Enter the factory-set five-digit code.
2. Press 1·2 on the keypad within fiveseconds.
3. Enter your personal five-digit code.You must press each number withinfive seconds of each other.
4. Press 1·2 on the keypad to savepersonal code 1.
The doors lock then unlock to confirm thatprogramming was successful.
To program additional personal entrycodes, repeat steps 1 through 3, then forstep 4:
•Press 3·4 to save personal code 2.
•Press 5·6 to save personal code 3.
•Press 7·8 to save personal code 4.
•Press 9·0 to save personal code 5.
You can also program a personal entrycode using the touchscreen.
Hints:
•Do not set a code that uses five of thesame number.
•Do not use five numbers in sequentialorder.
•The factory-set code works even if youhave set your own personal code.
Recalling Memory Positions (IfEquipped)
The programmed entry codes recall drivermemory positions as follows:
•Entry code 1 recalls driver 1 memorypositions.
•Entry code 2 recalls driver 2 memorypositions.
•Entry code 3 recalls driver 3 memorypositions.
Note:Personal entry codes 4 and 5 will notrecall memory positions.
Erasing a Personal Code
1. Enter the factory-set five-digit code.
2. Press and release 1·2 on the keypadwithin five seconds.
3. Press 1·2 and hold for two seconds.You must do this within five secondsof completing step 2.
All personal codes erase and only thefactory-set five-digit code works.

The memory control is on the driver door.
Saving a PreSet Position
1. Adjust the memory features to yourdesired position.
2. Press and hold the SET button untilyou hear a single tone.
3. Press the desired preset button untilyou hear a single tone.
You can save up to two preset memorypositions. You can save a memory presetat any time.
Recalling a PreSet Position
Press and release the preset buttonassociated with your desired drivingposition. The memory features move tothe position stored for that preset.
Note:A preset memory position can onlybe recalled when the ignition is off, or whenthe transmission is in park (P) or neutral (N)if the ignition is on and the vehicle is notmoving.
You can also recall a preset memoryposition by:
•Pressing the unlock button on yourintelligent access key fob if it is linkedto a preset position.
•Unlocking the intelligent driver doorhandle if a linked key fob is present.
•Entering a personal entry code on theSecuricode keypad. See Locks (page58).
Note:Using a linked key fob to recall yourmemory position when the ignition is offmoves the seat to the Easy Entry position.
Note:Pressing any active memory featurecontrol - power seat, mirror, or steeringcolumn (or any memory button) during amemory recall cancels the operation.
Linking a PreSet Position to yourRemote Control or IntelligentAccess Key Fob
Your vehicle can save the preset memorypositions for up to two remote controls orintelligent access (IA) keys.
After you have saved your desired memorypreset positions:
1. Press and hold the desired presetbutton for about three seconds untilyou hear a single tone.
2. Within three seconds, press the lockbutton on the remote control you arelinking.
To unlink a remote control, follow thesame procedure – except in step 2, pressthe unlock button on the remote control.
Note:If more than one linked remotecontrol or intelligent access key is in range,the memory function moves to the settingsof the first key to initiate a memory recall.
