Starting the engine

With the parking brake applied
and the gearbox in neutral, turn
the key to the MA
r position.
Wait for this warning lamp to go off then
operate the starter (AV V position) until the
engine starts.
The period of illumination of the warning
lamp depends on the climatic conditions.

oor or bonnet open warning lamp
If this warning lamp comes on,
check that the doors and bonnet
are closed correctly.
Switching off the engine
Stop the vehicle and apply the parking
brake, then, with the engine at idle, return
the key to the S
t
OP
position.
In low temperatures
In mountainous and/or cold areas, it is
advisable to use a "winter" type fuel suited
to low or minus temperatures.
Avoid attaching heavy objects to the
key or the remote control, which would
weigh down on its blade in the ignition
switch and could cause a malfunction.
It could adversely affect the deployment of
the front airbag. With the engine hot, the warning lamp
comes on for a few moments, you can start
the engine without waiting.
As soon as the engine is running, release
the key.

If the vehicle is not to be used for a
prolonged period, such as for winter storage,
for example, it is strongly recommended that
the battery be placed on standby in order to
protect it and optimise its service life. To place the battery on standby:

The battery goes into standby about
7 minutes later.
This time is necessary to:

Allow the user to get out of the vehicle
and lock the doors with the remote
control.

Ensure that all of the vehicle's electrical
systems are deactivated.
When the battery is on standby,
access to the vehicle is only possible
by unlocking the vehicle using the key in the
lock barrel in the driver's door.
After placing the battery on standby
,
settings (time, date, radio station
presets...) are memorised. To take the battery out of standby:

programming the deferred switching on of

If your vehicle is fitted with separate
programmable heating, it gradually brings
the engine up to a good temperature to
facilitate starting.
An integrated clock permits programming of
its start time. The passenger compartment
will be heated more quickly. Time display

To remove the head restraint, press the tabs
and raise the head restraint.

Front seat storage
There is a fixed storage tray under the
driver's seat.
central storage
An open storage space is provided, located
under the centre console panel.
It gives access to the auxiliary Jack socket
and USB port intended for the transfer of
data to the audio system.
Depending on equipment, it is also fitted
with double cup holder and/or a smartphone
holder.If your vehicle is fitted with a seat with
variable damping, it does not have any
storage compartments.
The space under the passenger's seat is
used to store the tool box containing the
tools required to change a wheel or bulb or
to tow the vehicle.
To take out the box, turn the control a
quarter turn to unlock it, then pull the box
forward.
When putting it back, don't forget to turn the
control a quarter turn in the other direction to
lock the box in its housing.

Folding writing table
This is located in the centre of the
dashboard.
The clip can be used to secure documents,
slips, ...
Pull or push the top of the table to unfold or
fold it.To insert or extract a CD, you must first
fold the table.
If your vehicle is fitted with a two-seat front
bench and a passenger front airbag, the
table cannot be raised.
Multifunction carrier
This can be used to support a portable
device, such as a smartphone in a vertical
position or a touch screen tablet in a
horizontal position. Pull the top of the carrier to unfold it.
Turn the side lever to release the upper and
lower clamps.
Spread the clamps to fit the portable device.
Raise the side lever to lock the clamps.
Before folding the carrier
, remove the
portable device by repeating the same
operations.
Push the top of the carrier to fold it.

Controls located at the bottom
of the dashboard on the driver's
side allow the driver to switch the
passenger spotlamp on or off.

These are controlled by the switches.
The driver's switch controls both reading
lamps simultaneously.
The passenger switch controls either the
driver's reading lamp or the passenger's
reading lamp.
