High voltage safety
This symbol identifies electric components in the vehicle that could present a risk to your safety.
Presentation
Your E-MEHARI is fitted with a LMP® battery that operates at voltages of up to 450V, delivering a
direct current.
The diagram below presents the locations of the different components on your E-MEHARI (LMP
®
battery, drive train, 12V battery, RFID reader).

Incorrect handling could lead to the
creation of an electric arc or electric
shock which could cause serious or
fatal injuries or burns. In the event of a problem with your
E-MEHARI, contact CITRÖEN
ASSISTANCE without delay, either by
telephone or using the blue assistance
button located on the centre console of
your E-MEHARI (see page 9).The servicing and repair of your
E-MEHARI must be entrusted to a

Fuses in the passenger
compartment
Remove the nut from the access cover (1)
located below the passenger storage
compartment. If an electric system is not working, check the
condition of the fuses.
5
Practical advice
60
e-mehari_en_Chap05_conseils-pratiques_ed02-2016
Check the condition of the fuse and, if
necessary, replace it with a new fuse,
which must be of the same rating as the
original fuse.
A fuse of too high a rating could cause
overheating of the electrical system
(risk of fire) if there were abnormal
current consumption in a circuit.
To check and replace a fuse:
- Ex
tract the fuse using the tweezer (1)
-
Sl
ide the tweezer sideways to remove it
-
It i
s recommended that the free fuse
locations be not used
-
Do
n't forget to return the tweezer (1) to its
holder
The tweezer for extracting fuses (1) is located
under the bonnet.
