Vehicle
Personalization
Personalization Menu (Radio
without Touchscreen)
The audio system controls are used
to access the personalization
menus for customizing vehicle
features.
The following are all possible
personalization features. Depending
on the vehicle, some may not be
available.
MENU :Turn to scroll through the
menus or setup items. Press to
enter the menus and select the
menu items.
BACK : Press to exit or return to
the previous screen or menu.
To access a menu:
1. Press MENU.
2. Turn MENU to the desired menu.
3. Press MENU to select.
Menus and functions may vary
depending on vehicle options. Entering the Personalization
Menus
Select Settings from the
Home Page.
The following menus may be
available:
.
Time and Date
. Tone Settings
. Auto Volume Control
. Maximum Startup Volume
. Vehicle Settings
Time and Date
Select Time and Date to adjust the
clock. See Clock0107.
Tone Settings
Select to set the radio tone. See
“Tone Settings” under“Radio
Controls without Touchscreen” in
Operation 0157.
Auto Volume Control
This feature automatically adjusts
the radio volume based on the
speed of the vehicle.
Select the desired value.
Maximum Startup Volume
When the vehicle is started and the
radio volume is greater than this set
level, the volume is adjusted to this
level.
Select the desired value.
Vehicle Settings
Select and the following may
display:

Chime Volume
This allows this feature to be
changed.
Select Normal or High.
Auto Wipe in Reverse Gear
This allows this feature to be turned
on or off. When on, and the front
wipers are on, the rear window
wiper will turn on automatically
when the vehicle is shifted into
R (Reverse).
Select On or Off.
Collision/Detection Systems
If equipped, select and the following
may display:
.Park Assist
. Side Blind Zone Alert
Park Assist
This allows this feature to be turned
on or off.
Select On or Off. Side Blind Zone Alert
This allows this feature to be turned
on or off. See
Side Blind Zone Alert
(SBZA) 0230.
Select On or Off.
Languages
Select, then select from the
available language(s).
The selected language may not
support all infotainment features.
Lighting
Select the Lighting menu and the
following may be displayed:
. Exit Lighting
Exit Lighting
Select to set how long the exterior
lamps stay on when leaving the
vehicle and it is dark outside. See
Exit Lighting 0150.
Select the desired time.
Power Door Locks
Select and the following may
display:
. Unlocked Door Anti Lock Out .
Auto Door Unlock
. Delayed Door Lock
Unlocked Door Anti Lock Out
When on, this feature will keep the
driver door from locking when the
door is open. If this feature is turned
on, the Delayed Door Lock menu
will not be available.
Select Off or On.
Auto Door Unlock
This allows selection of which of the
doors will automatically unlock when
the vehicle is shifted into P (Park)
with an automatic transmission or
when the vehicle is turned off with a
manual transmission.
Select Off, All Doors, or Driver Door.
Delayed Door Lock
When on, this feature will delay the
locking of the doors. To override the
delay, press the power door lock
switch on the door.
Select Off or On.

Passive Door Lock
This allows passive locking to be
turned on or off and selects

Select Off, On, or On With Horn
Chirp.
Remote Left in Vehicle Alert
This feature sounds an alert when
the RKE transmitter is left in the
vehicle. This menu also enables
Remote No Longer Left in Vehicle
alert.
Select Off or On.

Return to Factory Settings
Select to return all vehicle
personalizations to the default
settings.
Select Yes or No.
Software Information
Select to view the radio software
information.
Personalization Menu (Radio
with Touchscreen)
Settings can be made with the
ignition on and the vehicle not
moving.
The following are all possible
personalization features. Depending
on the vehicle, some may not be
available.

QorR: Touch to scroll through the

Select Time and Date to adjust the

Language
Select, then select from the
available language(s).
Valet Mode (If Equipped)
This will lock the infotainment
system and steering wheel controls.
It may also limit access to vehicle
storage locations (if equipped).
To enable valet mode:
1. Enter a four-digit code on the keypad.
2. Touch Enter to go to the confirmation screen.
3. Re-enter the four-digit code.
Touch LOCK or UNLOCK to lock or
unlock the system. Touch Back to
go back to the previous menu.

This allows Audible Touch
Feedback to be turned on or off.

Select to adjust the radio tone. See
Operation 0157.
Auto Volume
This feature adjusts the volume
based on vehicle speed and
ambient noise. Select Off, Low, Medium-Low,
Medium, Medium-High, or High.
Maximum Startup Volume
This feature sets the maximum
startup volume. If the vehicle is
started and the volume is greater
than this level, the volume is
adjusted to this level. To set the
maximum startup volume, press +
or
−to increase or decrease.

This allows the feature to be turned
on or off. See Parking Assist 0227.
Select Off, On, or On with Towbar
Attached.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
This allows the Rear Cross Traffic
Alert feature to be turned on or off.
Select Off or On.
Side Blind Zone Alert
This allows this feature to be turned
on or off. See Side Blind Zone Alert

Select to set the chime volume
level.
Touch + or −to adjust the volume.
Auto Wipe in Reverse Gear
This allows this feature to be turned
on or off. When on, and the front
wipers are on, the rear window
wiper will turn on automatically
when the vehicle is shifted into
R (Reverse).
Select On or Off.
Lighting
Select and the following may
display:
. Vehicle Locator Lights
. Exit Lighting Vehicle Locator Lights
This feature will flash the exterior
lamps and allows the headlamps,
parking lamps, taillamps, and most
of the interior lamps to turn on
briefly when
Kon the Remote
Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter is
pressed to locate the vehicle.
Select Off or On.
Exit Lighting
This allows the selection of how
long the exterior lamps stay on
when leaving the vehicle when it is
dark outside.
Select Off, 30 Seconds, 60
Seconds, or 120 Seconds.
Power Door Locks
Select and the following may
display:
. Unlocked Door Anti Lock Out
. Auto Door Unlock
. Delayed Door Lock Unlocked Door Anti Lock Out
When on, this feature will keep the
driver door from locking when the
door is open. If this feature is turned
on, the Delayed Door Lock menu
will not be available.
Select Off or On.
Auto Door Unlock
This allows selection of which of the
doors will automatically unlock when
the vehicle is shifted into P (Park).
Select Off, All Doors, or Driver Door.

When on, this feature will delay the

name, address, and PIN code.
Device Management
Select to connect to a different
phone source, disconnect a phone,
or delete a phone.
Change Pairing PIN
Select to change the PIN of a
device.
Ringtones
Press to change the ring tone for
the specific phone. The phone does
not need to be connected to change
the ring tones.
Sort Order
Select to change the order of the
contacts list.
Select First/Last or Last/First.Voice Mail Numbers
This feature displays the voice mail
number for all connected phones.
To change the voice mail number,
select
8or EDIT. Type a new
number, then select SAVE.
Text Message Alerts
This allows the feature to be turned
on or off.
Select Off or On.
Apple CarPlay™
Select and the following may

This feature allows Apple devices to
be connected to the infotainment
system through a USB port.

Select and the following may

Android Auto
This feature allows Android devices
to be connected to the infotainment
system through a USB port.
Select Off or On.

Select to manage Android devices.
Android Auto must be on for this
feature to be accessed.
USB Auto Launch
This allows Android and Apple
CarPlay devices to automatically
connect when plugged into the
USB port.
Select Off or On.
