The infotainment system has built-infeatures intended to help avoiddistraction by disabling somefunctions when driving. These
functions may gray out when theyare unavailable. Many infotainmentfeatures are also available throughthe instrument cluster and steeringwheel controls.
Before driving:
.Become familiar with theoperation, faceplate buttons, andscreen buttons.
.Set up the audio by presettingfavorite stations, setting thetone, and adjusting thespeakers.
.Set up phone numbers inadvance so they can be calledeasily by pressing a singlebutton or by using a single voicecommand if equipped withBluetooth phone capability.

In the main view of the Audio app,
pressworxto scroll through
radio stations or move to the next/previous track of a CD/USB/Bluetooth device that is connected
to the vehicle. PressVto select the
Audio app, then presspto enter
the Audio menu. In the Audio menubrowse for music, select from thefavorites, or change the audiosource.
Phone
PressVto select the Phone app,
then presspto enter the Phone
menu. In the Phone menu, if there isno active phone call, view recent
calls, scroll through contacts,or select from the favorites. If thereis an active call, mute or unmute thephone or switch to handset orhandsfree operation.
Navigation
PressVto select the Navigation
app, then presspto enter the
Navigation menu. If there is noactive route, you can resume thelast route and turn the voiceprompts on/off. If there is an active

SHIFT FROM NEUTRAL
(Hybrid)
This message displays when thevehicle should be shifted fromN(Neutral). If the vehicle is notshifted from N (Neutral) after sometime, the vehicle will shut off andrequire a restart. While inN(Neutral),thevehiclewillnotbeable to charge the high voltagebattery.
SHIFT TO PARK
This message displays when thetransmission needs to be shifted toP(Park). This may appear whenturning the ignition off or removingthe key from the vehicle if thevehicle is not in P (Park).
TRANSMISSION HOT—IDLE
ENGINE
This message displays and a chimesounds if the transmission fluid inthe vehicle gets hot. Driving with thetransmission fluid temperature highcan cause damage to the vehicle.Stop the vehicle and let it idle to
allow the transmission to cool. Thismessage clears when the fluidtemperature reaches a safe level.
