The control indicators described are
not present in all vehicles. The
description applies to all instrument
versions. Depending on the
equipment, the position of the control indicators may vary. When the vehicle
is switched on, most control indicators
will illuminate briefly as a functionality test.

Flashes
Electric parking brake is in service
mode. Stop vehicle, apply and
release the electric parking brake to

Have the cause of the fault
remedied immediately by a
workshop. Avoid parking on
inclines until the cause of the fault has been remedied.

Antilock brake system
(ABS)
u illuminates yellow.
Illuminates for a few seconds after the
vehicle is switched on. The system is ready for operation when the control
indicator extinguishes.
If the control indicator does not go out after a few seconds, or if it illuminates
while driving, there is a fault in the

requests the driver to confirm a
function or message by pressing 9.
Once a main menu page is selected,
this selection remains stored until
another main menu page is selected.
This means once the Vehicle info
menu page is selected, you can
change the subpages just by pressing { or }.

The following list contains all possible Vehicle info menu pages. Some may
not be available for your particular
vehicle. Depending on the display,
some functions are symbolised.

Trip
Trip odometer displays the current distance and the current average
electrical energy economy since a
certain reset.
The distance counts up to
99,999.9 km then restarts at 0.
The average electrical energy
economy displays the approximate
average kWh per 100 kilometres
(kWh/100 km).
To reset, press and hold 9.
Tyre pressure (kPa)
Checks tyre pressure of all wheels
during driving 3 233.
Average speed
Display of average speed. The
measurement can be reset at any
time.
Timer
To start and stop, press 9. To reset,
press > and confirm reset.

effect that hot or cold air has on
vehicle aerodynamics.
● Score is the sum of the individual
scores.
The individual scores provide an
understanding of how electric
economy are different from day-to-
day, even when travelling the same
route.
All values are reset after a complete
charge and may not be stable until approximately 16 km have beendriven.Efficiency History
The Efficiency History graph shows
the average economy over the last
50 km.
The present bar provides the average economy for the current 5 km.
Touch Reset to clear the history data.
Energy settings
To view and change the Energy
settings , touch Energy and then
Energy settings . Use the arrows to
scroll through the list.
The following list of menu items may
be available:
● Location-based charging : This
feature allows the charging settings to be remembered at the
saved GPS coordinates for the
Home location. Location based

the configuration to unlock only the driver's door or the whole
vehicle whilst unlocking.
Relock remotely unlocked doors :
Activates or deactivates the
passive locking function. This
feature locks the vehicle
automatically after several
seconds if all doors have been
closed and an electronic key has been removed from the vehicle.
Remote start auto heat seats :
Activates or deactivates
automatically the heated seats
when using remote start.
Passive door unlock : Changes

The green control indicator f
illuminates continuously when the
high beam assist is activated, the blue one 7 illuminates when high beam is
on.

Pushing indicator lever once switches on manual high beam without high
beam assist.
High beam assist switches
automatically to low beam when:
● Driving in urban areas.
● Reverse parking function is active.
● Rear fog light is switched on.
If there are no restrictions detected,
the system switches back to high
beam.
Deactivation
If high beam assist is active and high
beam is on, press f once or pull
indicator lever once to deactivate high
beam assist.If high beam assist is active and high
beam is off, press f once to
deactivate high beam assist.
Pushing the indicator lever to activate manual high beam will also
deactivate high beam assist.
Headlight flash in conjunction with
high beam assist
Headlight flash by pulling indicatorlever once will not deactivate highbeam assist when high beam is off.
Headlight flash by pulling indicator lever once deactivates high beam
assist when high beam is on.
Fault in headlight system
When the system detects a failure in
the headlight system, it selects a
preset position to avoid dazzling of
oncoming traffic. A warning is
displayed in the Driver Information
Centre.

To activate the headlight flash, pull
lever.

Select the desired option.
Wi-Fi settings Using the Wi-Fi menu, you can
establish a connection to an available
Wi-Fi network.
Press p and then select 1 in the top
left corner of the screen to display the application overview screen.
Select Settings and then Wi-Fi to
display the respective submenu.
Configuration of Wi-Fi
Activate or deactivate Wi-Fi.
Note
A Wi-Fi connection can only be
established if Wi-Fi is activated.
Wi-Fi networks
To display a list of available Wi-Fi
networks, select Manage Wi-Fi
Networks .
To register a new network, select Add
Another Network . Follow the
instructions on the screen and enter
the network name, security type and
password. The new network appears
in the list.
To reload the existing list, select
Refresh .
To display more information on a
network, select i.
To delete a network from the list,
select Delete .
Factory defaults Press p and then select 1 in the top
left corner of the screen to display the application overview screen.
Select Settings . Scroll through the list
and select Return to factory settings .
To restore all vehicle personalisation
settings, select Reset vehicle
settings .
To delete the paired Bluetooth
devices and all related data, select
Clear all private data .

Background is activated, software

automatically by the system without
