In the following situations, the warning message may not be displayed even if
vehicle-to-vehicle distance decreases:
l When your vehicle and the vehicle ahead are traveling at the same speed or
the vehicle ahead is traveling more quickly than your vehicle
l When the vehicle ahead is traveling at a very low speed
l Immediately after cruise control speed is set
l At the instant the accelerator pedal is depressed
n The LDA (Lane Departure Alert) lane departure warning function (if
equipped)
In the following situations, a warning message will not be displayed even if a
lane line is crossed.
l When the vehicle speed deviates from the operating range of the LDA sys-
tem functions
l When the lane lines cannot be recognized
n
When a tire is replaced with the spare tire
The compact spare tire is not equipped with a tire pressure warning valve
and transmitter. If a tire goes flat, the tire pressure warning light will not
turn off even though the flat tire has been replaced with the spare tire.
