Grip the driver’s door handle to unlock the
driver’s door. Grip the front passenger’s door
handle to unlock all doors.
All doors will be locked/unlocked by the following procedures carrying the access key on
your person. (The driver should always carry the access key.)
For detailed operating and safety information, please refer to
your Owner’s Manual.
Keyless access function (if equipped)
Side door (front door handles only):
1 All doors will be locked.
2 The driver’s door will be unlocked.
(To unlock all doors, briefly press the button
a second time within 5 seconds.)
3 Press and hold to open the trunk.
4 The horn will sound and the hazard warning
flashes will flash.

direction of your desired position.

Tilt/ telescopic steering wheel
Remote control mirror switch
1 Adjust the seat position and pull the tilt/
telescopic lock lever down.
2 Move the steering wheel to the desired level.
3 Pull the lever up to lock the steering wheel in
place.
Make sure that the steering wheel is securely
locked by moving it up and down, and forward and
backward.

Start/ Stop engine
The key can be turned from ACC to LOCK
only when the key is pushed in while turning
it (all models) and the select lever is in the
P position (CVT models).

Starting engine:
1. Carry the access key, and sit in the driver’s seat.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Shift the select lever in the P position (CVT models) or shift lever in neutral (MT models).
4. Depress the brake pedal (CVT models) or brake pedal and clutch pedal (MT models) until the indicator on the push-button ignition switch turns green.
5. While depressing the brake pedal (CVT models) or clutch pedal (MT models), press the push-button ignition switch.To stop engine:
1. Stop the vehicle completely.
2. Move the select lever to the P position (CVT models) or shift lever in neutral (MT models).
3. Press the push-button ignition switch.
Every time the button is pressed without depressing the brake pedal, the\
power is switched
in the sequence of OFF➞ACC➞ON➞OFF.

You must raise the slider and hold it in that position
before you can move the shift lever to the R position.
To change gears, fully depress the clutch pedal, move
the shift lever, and gradually let up on the clutch pedal.
Shift paddle:
Gearshifts can be performed using the shift paddle
behind the steering wheel.

select lever from the D position to the M position to
select the manual mode.

1 Windshield wiper
To operate the wiper, rotate knob to;
: Mist (for a single wipe) : Off : Intermittent : Low speed : High speed

Use in emergency conditions.

Turn the dial to adjust the illumination brightness of the
instrument panel.
When the control dial is turned fully upward to
position, the illumination brightness becomes the
maximum and the automatic dimming function does not
work at all.

1 Defroster button:
Press the button to defrost the windshield.
2 Rear window defogger button:
Press the button to turn on rear window defogger,
outside mirror defogger and windshield wiper deicer
(if equipped). The function will automatically shut off
after approximately 15 minutes.*The illustration of the print is Type A.
