■Auxiliary battery
●The anti-theft device has a built-in auxiliary battery, which is used when the vehicle’s
battery is discharged or has been removed. Make sure that you replace the auxil-
iary battery in good time so that the anti-theft device can function properly in emer-
gency situations.
●The replacement interval of the auxiliary battery will differ according to the envi-
ronment in which it is used. The auxiliary battery has a minimum lifetime of 12
months in normal use conditions. Comply with the replacement interval outlined by
your service provider.

An agreement (activation) with a service provider is necessary for
usage of the anti-theft device.
After making an agreement (activation), various services will be pro-
vided by the service provider, incl uding receiving position data from
your vehicle and preventing engine ignition.

Do not leave glasses, lighters or spray cans in the storage spaces, as this may cause
the following when cabin temperature becomes high:
●Glasses may be deformed by heat or cracked if they come into contact with
other stored items.
●Lighters or spray cans may explode. If they come into contact with other stored
items, the lighter may catch fire or the spray can may release gas, causing a fire
hazard.

Do not use the auxiliary boxes as an ashtray.
Doing so may cause a fire.

Do not leave the auxiliary box open while driving.
Items may fall out and cause death or serious injury in case of an accident or sud-
den stop.
■Items unsuitable for storing (overhead)
Do not store items heavier than 0.2 kg (0.4 lb.).
Doing so may cause the auxiliary box to open and the items inside may fall out,
resulting in an accident.
