●Close all the doors and windows, and turn the engine switch off.

To help prevent incorrect fueling, your vehicle has a fuel tank opening that only
accommodates the special nozzle on unleaded fuel pumps.
Opening the fuel tank cap
Perform the following steps to open the fuel tank cap:

Pressing the button changes the
vehicle-to-vehicle distance as fol-

The vehicle-to-vehicle distance is set
automatically to long mode when the
engine switch is turned to IGNITION
ON mode.
If a vehicle is running ahead of you, the
preceding vehicle mark will also be
displayed.
Select a distance from the table below. Note that the distances shown cor-
respond to a vehicle speed of 80 km/h (50 mph). Vehicle-to-vehicle dis-
tance increases/decreases in accordance with vehicle speed.

When constant speed control mode is selected, your vehicle will maintain
a set speed without controlling the vehicle-to-vehicle distance. Select this
mode only when vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode does not func-
tion correctly due to dirt etc.
Press the “ON•OFF” button to
activate the cruise control.
Radar cruise control indicator will
come on.
Press the button again to deactivate
the cruise control.
Switch to constant speed control
mode.
(Push the lever forward and hold
for approximately 1 second.)
Cruise control indicator will come on.
When in constant speed control
mode, to return to vehicle-to-vehicle
distance control mode, push the lever
forward again and hold for approxi-
mately 1 second.
After the desired speed has been set,
it is not possible to return to vehicle-
to-vehicle distance control mode.
If the engine switch is turned off and
then turned to IGNITION ON mode
again, the vehicle will automatically
return to vehicle-to-vehicle distance
control mode.

be about 3 m (10 ft.) to 5 m (16 ft.) regardless of the vehicle-to-vehicle dis-
tance setting.

Press the LKA switch to activate the
system.
LKA indicator will come on.
Press the switch again to turn the LKA
system off.
The LKA system will revert to off each
time the engine switch is turned to
IGNITION ON mode.

Sport mode
• SPORT S mode
Assists acceleration response by controlling the transmission and
the engine. Suitable for when powerful acceleration is desirable.
When not in SPORT S mode and the driv ing mode select switch is turned to
the right, the “SPORT S” indicator comes on in the multi-information display.
• SPORT S+ mode
Helps to ensure steering performance and driving stability by simul-
taneously controlling the steering and suspension in addition to the
transmission. Suitable for sporty driving.
When in SPORT S mode and the driving mo de select switch is turned to the
right, the “SPORT S+” indicator comes on in the multi-information display.
■Operation of the air conditioni ng system in Eco drive mode
Eco drive mode controls the heating/cooling operations and fan speed of the air
conditioning system to enhance fuel efficiency ( P. 418). To improve air condition-
ing performance, adjust the fan speed or turn off Eco drive mode.
■Sport mode automatic deactivation
Sport mode is automatically deactivated if the engine switch is turned off after driv-
ing in sport mode.
■Driving mode pop-up display
When the driving mode is changed, the selected driving mode will be temporarily
displayed on the side display. ( P. 415)

CAUTION
■Be sure to stop the engine in the following situations in order to stop operation of
the electronically modulated air suspension:
●The vehicle is parked on a curb.
●Any of the wheels is stuck in a ditch.
●It is necessary to jack up the vehicle.
●It is necessary to tow the vehicle with part of it lifted.
If the engine switch remains in IGNITION ON mode, the vehicle height may
change, and you may catch part of your body in the vehicle, resulting in accidental
damage.
