LIGHT BULBS
Use only the bulbs of the specified
wattage.
If you don’t have necessary tools, the
correct bulbs and the expertise, con-
sult an authorized Kia dealer. In
many cases, it is difficult to replace
vehicle light bulbs because other
parts of the vehicle must be removed
before you can get to the bulb. This is
especially true if you have to remove
the headlight assembly to get to the
bulb(s). Removing/installing the
headlight assembly can result in
damage to the vehicle.Headlight, position light, turn
signal light, side marker light,
and front fog light bulb
replacementWARNING - Lights
Prior to working on the light,
firmly apply the parking brake,
ensure that the ignition switch
is turned to the “LOCK” position
and turn off the lights to avoid
burning your fingers or receiv-
ing an electric shock.
CAUTION - Light replacement
Be sure to replace the burned-out bulb with one of the samewattage rating. Otherwise, itmay cause damage to the fuseor electric wiring system.

H10
The high voltage Hybrid battery is
used to operate the electric motor
and other components. High voltage
is dangerous if touched.
Your vehicle is equipped with orange
colored insulation and covers over
the high voltage components to pro-
tect people from electric shock. High
voltage warning labels are attached
to some system components as
additional warnings. Your vehicle's
hybrid system should therefore only
be inspected or repaired by an
authorized Kia dealer.
WARNING- High voltagecomponents
Never touch orange or high
voltage labeled components
including wires, cables, and
connections. If the insulators or
covers are damaged or
removed, severe injury or death
from electrocution may occur.

WARNING- Touching HPCU
When replacing fuses or relays
under the hood, do not touch
the HPCU in the engine com-
partment. Touching the HPUC
cause death or severe injury
from electrocution.
