Periodically remove any dirt thatmay accumulate on the sunroof
guide rail or between the sun-
roof and roof panel.
Do not try to open the sunroof when the temperature is below
freezing or when the sunroof is
covered with snow or ice, the
motor could be damaged.
Information
After the vehicle is washed or in a
rainstorm, be sure to wipe off any
water that is on the sunroof before
operating it.
To Reset the Sunroof
Sunroof needs to be reset if (in the
followings)
- Battery is discharged or discon-nected or the related fuse has been
replaced or disconnected
- The one-touch sliding function of the sunroof does not normally oper-
ate
1. Turn the engine on and close the sunroof glass and sunshade com-
pletely.
2. Release the control lever. 3. Push the sunroof control lever for-
ward in the direction of close
(about 10 seconds) until the sun-
roof slightly moves. Then, release
the lever.
4. Push the sunroof control lever for- ward in the direction of close until
the sunroof operates as follows:
Sunshade Open → Glass Tilt Open
→ Glass Slide Open → Glass Slide
Close → Sunshade Close
Then, release the control lever.
When this is complete, the sunroof
system is reset.
For more information, contact an
authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
Information
If you do not reset the sunroof, it may
not work properly.

Service required
When you fail to have your vehicle
serviced according to the already
inputted service interval, "Service
required" message is displayed for
several seconds each time you turn
ON the Engine Start/Stop button.
To reset the service interval in
mileages or days that you initially set:
- Press the OK button for more than1 second.
Service in OFF
When the service interval is not set,
"Service in Off" message is dis-
played on the LCD display.
Information
If any of the following conditions
occurs, the mileage and days may be
incorrect.
- The battery cable is disconnected.
- The fuse switch is turned off.
- The battery is discharged.

Trip computer
The trip computer is a driving infor-
mation system controlled by a micro-
computer. This displays driving-relat-
ed information.
Information
Some driving information, stored in
the trip computer (i.e. average vehicle
speed) is reset when the battery is dis-
connected
One time driving informationmode
The driving information mode displays
tripmeter (1), average fuel economy (2),
and estimated distance to empty (3).
The information is displayed for a few
seconds when the vehicle is turned
OFF. The information is calculated
after each trip.
When the estimated distance to empty
is less than 1 mile (1 km), the driving
information mode displays “---” and
“Low fuel” (4) message will appear.
Information
If “Sunroof Open” warning message
is displayed in the cluster, this mode
may not be displayed.

Elapsed Time (3)
The elapsed time is the total driv-ing time since the last elapsed time
reset.
- Time range (hh:mm): 00:00 ~ 99:59
To reset the elapsed time, press the [OK] button on the steering
wheel for more than 1 second when
the elapsed time is displayed.
Information
Even though the vehicle is not in
motion, the elapsed time keeps being
recorded, while the engine is running.
Fuel economy
Distance To Empty (1)
The distance to empty is the esti-mated distance the vehicle can
drive with the remaining fuel.
- Distance range: 1 ~ 9999 mi. or 1~ 9999 km
When the estimated distance to empty is less than 1 mile (1 km), the
trip computer displays “---” .
Information
• When the vehicle is not on levelground, or when the battery power
is interrupted, the distance to empty
may not be correctly calculated.
• The distance to empty may differ from the actual distance, as it is esti-
mated with the calculable driving
distance.
• The trip computer may not recog- nize additional fuel adding, when
less than 1.6 gallons (6 liters) of fuel
is added.
• The fuel economy and distance to empty may significantly vary in
accordance with driving conditions,
driving habits, and vehicle condi-
tions.

Temperature conversion
If the battery has been discharged or
disconnected, the temperature mode
display will reset to Centigrade.
You can switch the temperature mode
between Centigrade to Fahrenheit as
follows;
- Automatic climate control system
While pressing the OFF button,
press the AUTO button for 3 seconds
or more. The display will change from
Centigrade to Fahrenheit, or from
Fahrenheit to Centigrade.
- “User setting mode” in the cluster :You can change the temperature
unit in the “Other features -
Temperature unit”
Air intake control
This is used to select the outside
(fresh) air position or recirculated air
position.
To change the air intake control posi-
tion, push the control button.
Recirculated air position
With the recirculated airposition selected, air
from the passenger
compartment will be
drawn through the heat-
ing system and heated
or cooled according to
the function selected.
Outside (fresh) air position
With the outside (fresh) air position selected, air
enters the vehicle from
outside and is heated or
cooled according to the

Defogging logic (if equipped)
To reduce the probability of fogging
up the inside of the windshield, the
air intake or air conditioning are con-
trolled automatically according to
certain conditions such as or
position. To cancel or return the
defogging logic, do the following.
Automatic climate control sys-tem
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON
position.
2. Press the defroster button ( ).
3. While pressing the air conditioning button (A/C), press the air intake
control button at least 5 times with-
in 3 seconds.
The climate control information
screen will blink 3 times with 0.5 sec-
onds of interval. It indicates that the
defogging logic is canceled or
returned to the programmed status.
If the battery has been discharged or
disconnected, it resets to the defog
logic status.

Clock
With Audio system
Whenever the battery terminals or
related fuses are disconnected, you
must reset the time.
To set the time:Engine Start/Stop button must be in
the ACC or ON position.
• H (Hour, 1)
Each time you press the "H" button,
the clock will change backward by
one hour. Pressing and holding the
"H" button will change the clock
backward continuously.
Release the button at the desired time.
• M (Minute, 2)
Each time you press the "M" button ,
the clock will change backward by
one minute. Pressing and holding the
"M" button will change the clock
backward continuously.
Release the button at the desired time.
• Display conversion
To change the 12 hour format to the
24 hour format, press the "H" and
"M" button simultaneously for more
than 4 seconds.
For example, if the "H" and "M" but-
ton is pressed when the time is 10:15
p.m., the display will change to 22:15
With Navigation system
You can set the clock by using the
Navigation system.
Do not adjust the clock while
driving, you may lose your
steering control and cause an
accident that results in severe
personal injury or death.
