Low Fuel Light
A reminder light triggers when the fuel level is low or the fuel tank is nearly empty. Refuel as soon as possible.
Left Vehicle Information Display
Provides information about various systems on your
vehicle. Use the left-hand, 5-way controls located on
the steering wheel to choose and confirm settings and messages. Refer to the Information Displays chapter in your Owner’s Manual for more information.
Adaptive Cruise Control*
Adjusts your speed to maintain a proper distance between
you and the vehicle in front of you in the same lane.
You can set the gap distance between yourself and the vehicle in front by pressing the
and the buttons on
the steering wheel. Refer to the Cruise Control chapter of your Owner’s Manual for more information.
NOTE Driving aids do not replace the need to watch
where the vehicle is moving and brake when necessary.

Steering Wheel Controls
Audio Controls Press VOL + or – to increase or decrease volume levels.
Press to access the next or previous radio station
preset, CD track or preset satellite radio channel*.
Voice Controls *
Press to access voice recognition.
Press to access phone mode or to answer a call.
Press
to end a phone call.
Right Vehicle Information Display*
Displays information about Entertainment, Phone and
Navigation*. Use the right-hand, 5-way controls located on
your steering wheel to scroll through, highlight and make minor
adjustments within a selected menu. Refer to the MyFord Touch
®
chapter in your Owner’s Manual for more information.
Wiper Control
Adjust the lever to switch the wipers on and off. Rotate the dial to
adjust the intermittent wipe speed. Pull the lever toward you to
use the washer and spray the windshield.
Push Button Start*
Allows you to start your vehicle by pressing the START STOP
button while fully pressing down on the brake pedal. Press the
button again to switch the engine off. If your vehicle has been
idling for an extended period of time, it automatically shuts
down. Before the engine shuts down, a message appears in the
information display, allowing the driver to temporarily override the
shutdown feature.
NOTE Your intelligent access transmitter must be inside the
vehicle for the ignition to start. The keyless warning alert sounds
the horn twice when you exit the vehicle with the intelligent
access transmitter and your vehicle is in RUN, indicating that
the vehicle is still on.
Tilt/Telescope Steering Column
Pull the lever down to unlock the steering column. Adjust the
steering column to your desired position. Push the lever up to lock
the desired position into place.
