Stop & Start
The heating and air conditioning systems only work when the engine is running.
To maintain a comfortable temperature in the passenger compartment, you can temporarily deactivate the Stop & Start system. For more information on Stop & Star t , refer to the corresponding section.
In order for these systems to be fully effective, follow the operation and maintenance guidelines below: To obtain an even air distribution, take care not to obstruct the exterior air intake grilles located at the base of the windscreen, the nozzles, the vents and the air outlets, as well as the air extractor located in the boot. Do not cover the sunshine sensor, located on the dashboard; this is used for regulation of the air conditioning system. Operate the air conditioning system for at least 5 to 10 minutes, once or twice a month to keep it in per fect working order. Ensure that the passenger compartment filter is in good condition and have the filter elements replaced regularly. We recommend the use of a combined passenger compartment filter. Thanks to its special active additive, it contributes to the purification of the air breathed by the occupants and the cleanliness of the passenger compartment (reduction of allergic symptoms, bad odours and greasy deposits). To ensure correct operation of the air conditioning system, you are also advised to have it checked regularly as recommended in the maintenance and warranty guide. If the system does not produce cold air, switch it off and contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop. When towing the maximum load on a steep gradient in high temperatures, switching off the air conditioning increases the available engine power and so improves the towing ability.
The condensation created by the air conditioning results in a discharge of water under the vehicle which is per fectly normal.
Contains fluorinated greenhouse gas R134A. Depending on version and country of sale, the air conditioning system contains fluorinated greenhouse gas R134A. Gas capacity 0.425 kg (+/- 0.025 kg), GWP index 1 430 t (equivalent CO2: 0.608 t).
If after an extended stop in sunshine, the interior temperature is very high, first ventilate the passenger compartment for a few moments. Put the air flow control at a setting high enough to quickly change the air in the passenger compartment.

Temporary puncture repair kit
This kit consists of a compressor and a sealant cartridge. It allows the temporary repair of a tyre. temporary repair of a tyre. temporary repair You are then able to go to the nearest garage.
The vehicle's electric system allows the connection of the compressor for long enough to inflate a tyre after a puncture repair.
Tyre under-infl ation detection
If the vehicle is fitted with tyre under-inflation detection, the under-inflation warning lamp will remain on after the wheel has been repaired until the
system is reinitialised by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop. It is designed to repair most punctures which could affect the tyre, located on the tyre tread or shoulder. Its compressor can be used to check and adjust the pressure of the tyre.
Access to the kit
Only the 12 V socket at the front of the vehicle allows the connection of the compressor for long enough to repair or inflate a tyre. The other 12 V sockets in the vehicle are not suited to the use of the compressor.
This kit is installed in the storage box, under the boot floor.
