can change cartridges at any time, keeping

Replacing a cartridge
The air freshener button A is independent of
the cartridge. Cartridges are supplied without

he air freshener button A .
The button of the air freshener A can only be
fitted to the centre of the dashboard with a
cartridge
attached.
Therefore
always keep the air freshener
b
utton A and one cartridge.
Replacement
cartridges are available,
d
epending on country, either on the Internet
s
ite or from a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Locations
are provided in the glove box for
s
toring cartridges and containers.
Air freshener button
For safety, use only cartridges that are provided for this purpose.
Retain
the containers for storing used
c
artridges.
Do
not recharge or dismantle the
c
artridges.
Keep them out of reach of children and
animals.
Avoid
all contact with the skin and with
t
he eyes.
In
the event of ingestion, consult a

octor and show them the product
packaging

el.
Do
not install or remove a cartridge

is illuminated when the lid is opened.
It is cooled by a manual directional ventilation
nozzle.

is connected directly to your vehicle's air

onditioning system and is supplied with cool

ir whatever the temperature setting for the

assenger

ompartment.
The
refrigeration of your glove box operates
o
nly with the engine running and the air
c
onditioning
on
.
The
blinds
are
extended
on
the
sun
visor
rails.
Fold
the
visor
downwards,
to
protect
against
d
azzle
to
the
face.
If
dazzle
is
coming
from
the
side
windows,
d
etach
the
visor
from
its
housing
above
the
c
entre
of
the
windscreen
and
pivot
it
to
the side.
The
visors
are
fitted
with
a
locking
system
on
t
heir
central
housing
when
the
blind
is
reeled
i
n.
To
detach
the
visor
or
to
reposition
it,
it
must
b
e
in
a
vertical
position.

Do not attach or suspend heavy objects o n the slide rail of the sun blind.

When the ignition is on, this warning lamp comes in the instrument
panel.
It stays on while the airbag is
d
eactivated.
Front airbags
Deployment
The airbags are deployed, except the p assenger's front airbag if it is deactivated, in the
e
vent of a serious front impact to all or part of the
front impact zone A ,
in the longitudinal centreline
o
f the vehicle on a horizontal plane and directed
from
the front to the rear of the vehicle.
The
front airbag inflates between the thorax and
h
ead of the front occupant of the vehicle and the
steering
wheel, driver's side, and the dashboard,
p
assenger's side to cushion their for ward
m
ovement.
System which protects the driver and front
passenger in the event of a serious front impact
i
n order to limit the risk of injury to the head and
t
horax.
The
driver's airbag is fitted in the centre of the
s
teering wheel; the front passenger's airbag is
f
itted in the dashboard above the glove box.Only
the passenger's front airbag can be
d
eactivated.

ith the ignition off,
insert the key in the
p
assenger airbag deactivation switch.
F
T
urn it to the "OFF"
p
osition.
F
R
emove the key keeping the switch in the
n
ew position.To assure the safety of your child,
the
passenger's front airbag must be
d
eactivated when you install a rear ward
facing child seat on the front passenger
sea
t.
Other wise, the child would risk being
s
eriously injured or killed if the airbag
w
ere deployed.
Reactivation
When you remove the rear ward facing child sea
t, with the ignition off , turn the switch to
the "ON"
position to reactivate the airbag and
s
o assure the safety of your front passenger in
t
he event of an impact.
When
the ignition is switched on,
t
his warning lamp comes on in the
i
nstrument panel for approximately
o
ne minute to signal that the front
a
irbag is activated.
Operating fault
If this warning lamp comes on in the instrument panel, you must contact
a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop
to have the system checked.
The
airbags may no longer be deployed
i
n the event of a serious impact.
