Advice on care and maintenance
Recommendations on the care and maintenance your vehicle are given in the maintenance and warranty guide.
T he   headlamps   have   polycarbonate

enses,   finished   with   a   protective  
l

a c q u e r.
Do
  not   clean   them   with   a   dry   or  
a

brasive   cloth,   nor   with   detergent   or  
so

lvent
 pro
ducts.
Use
  a   sponge   and   soapy   water.
The
  use   of   a   high   pressure   jet   wash  
f

or   cleaning   the   headlamps,   lamps  
a

nd   their   surrounds   may   damage   the  
l

acquer   and   seals.
Observe
  the   recommendations   on  
p

ressure   and   distance   for   jet   washing.
First clean persistent stains with a
sponge
  and   warm   soapy   water.For
  the   care   of   the   stickers   in   the   rear  
d

oor   glasses,   we   recommend   the  
fo

llowing:

se   a   wide   jet   at   a   temperature   of

etween   25°C   and   40°C.

W
here   possible,   direct   the   jet   at  
r

ight   angles   to   the   stickers.

When
  using   a   high   pressure   jet   wash,   keep   the

available   from   CITROËN   dealers.

avoid
 
problems   of   premature   ageing   of   the

IRBUMP
® panels, do not use polish on them.

F Position  the   foot   of   the   jack   2   on   the   ground  a
nd   ensure   that   it   is   directly   below   the  
f

ront A or rear B   jacking   point   provided   on  
t

he   underbody,   whichever   is   closest   to   the  
w

heel   to   be   changed. F
 E xtend   the   jack   2   until   its   head   comes   into   contact   with   the   jacking   point   A or B   used;  t
he vehicle's   contact   area   A or B   must   engage   with   the   central   part   of   the   head   of   the   jack.

aise   the   vehicle   until   there   is   sufficient   space   between   the   wheel   and   the   ground   to   admit  
t

he spare   (not   punctured)   wheel   easily.
Ensure
  that   the   jack   is   stable.   If   the   ground   is   slippery   or   loose,   the   jack   may   slip   or   drop   -

isk   of   injury!
Ensure
  that   the   jack   is   positioned   only   at   one   of   the   jacking   points   A or B   under   the   vehicle,  
m

aking   sure   that   the   vehicle's   contact   sur face   is   centred   on   the   head   of   the   jack.   Other wise  
t

here   is   a   risk   of   damage   to   the   vehicle   and/or   of   the   jack   dropping   -   Risk   of   injury!
