If a city was added to an entry (such as City
events), you can use it as a navigation destina
tion
in the M M!.

Refresh
The contents for the selected Audi connec t serv
ice are refreshed .
Change search area
The set search area can be changed at any time.

Close Audi connect service
Regardless of what function is selected, you can
close an Audi connect service

Facebook
Applies to vehicles wit h Audi c o nn ect
You can access the most important functions in
your Facebook account through your MMI.
Requirement:
You must have a Facebook account.
You must have connected your myAudi account
with Facebook.
You must have connected your vehicle with
myAudi ¢ page 122.
... Select Facebook > left control button > desired
function
(for example, News Feed).
The following categories can be selected in the
Facebook menu:
-News Feed: new posts (for example, by friends
or groups) are displayed.
-Timeline : your Facebook timeline is displayed.
-Messages: messages you have received are dis-
played.
-Places nearby: places nearby are displayed
that, for example, were recommended by your
friends. You can narrow the search further by
entering categories.
-Events: events to which you were invited are
displayed.
The following functions are available, depending
on the Facebook category you have selected:
-What's on your mind?: you can publish a new
Facebook status using pre-made templates or
using customized myAudi templates.
-Where are you? : you can specify your current
location and make it visible.

-You can find additional information on con
necting your myAudi account with Facebook
in the Audi connect (myAudi) operating
manual at www.audi.com/myaudi.
-You can only connect one Facebook account
with your myAudi account.
-Other settings such as account and privacy
settings cannot be changed in the MMI.

-Audi connect makes it possible to access
Facebook. Permanent availability cannot be
guaranteed, because that depends on Face
book.
Twitter
Applies to vehicles wit h Audi connect
You can access the most important functions in
your Twitter account through your MMI .
Requirement:
You must have a Twitter account.
You must have connected your myAudi account
with Twitter.
You must have connected your vehicle with
myAudi ¢page 122.
... Select Twitter > left control button > desired
function
(for example, Trends).
The following categories can be selected in the
Twitter menu:
-My Tweets : News Feed and the Tweets you have
posted are listed.
-Home: the Tweets for everyone you follow are
displayed.
-Trends : topics on Twitter that are currently
popular within a country.
Different functions are available depending on
the Twitter category you have selected:
-New tweet: you can post a new tweet using
pre-made templates or using individualized
myAudi
templates.
- Refresh : the selected Twitter function is re
freshed.
-Set as favorite : set a Tweet as favorite to show
you liked it.
-Retweet: you can quote a Tweet to share it with

The navigation system directs you to your destination, around traffic incidents and on alternative
routes, if desired.

If you have connected a cell phone with the MMI,
your directory contacts w ill also be listed if they
have navigation data assigned to them.
Your favorites@) and directory contacts are only
displayed
in the Ente r de stination menu when
you have entered one or more letters using the
input field.

- Se lect an entry from the list.
When selecting an entry from the list, the corre
spondi ng destination will always be shown to you
as a map preview®~ fig. 114.
Switching between the destination entry and
the map
- Press the INAV/MAPI button repeatedly until
the map is displayed . Or: select the left control
button > Swit ch to map .

-Obey a ll traffic laws when driving.
- The r
oute calculated by the navigation sys-
tem is a recommendation fo r reaching your
destination. Obey traffic lights, stopping re
s trictions, one-way streets, lane change re
strictions, etc.

Entering a destination
Free text search

You can quickly and easily search destinations
using the free
text search and transfer them to
route guidance.
Using the MMI touch control pad, yo u can enter
the data fo r a naviga tion destination in any order
all at once (for example, monument Washing
ton). Likewise, you can
search for points of inter
est, contacts, previous destinations or favorites
to navigate to the desired address.

Information on the Jukebox memory capacity and

playlist are played and shown in random order.

System settings
Setting the date and
time
You can set the clock time manually or using the
CPS.
.,. Select: IMENUI button> Settings > left control
button > MMI settings> Date & time .
Automatic setting
When this function is switched on~, the time
and date are automatically adjusted.
Time
The Time can be set manually. The Automatic
setting
must be switched off to do this.
Date
The Date can be set manually. The Automatic
setting
must be switched off to do this.
Time zone
When selecting the appropriate time zone, a
sampling of countries in this zone will be listed .
Automatic time zone*
When the automatic time zone function is
swi t
ched on, the time will automatically adjust to
the corresponding time zone.
Time format
If you select 24h, the clock will display, for ex
ample, 13:00. If you select AM/PM, the clock
will display, for
example, 1:00 PM.
Date format
I f you select 00.MM .YYYY, the date will display,
for example, 31.12.2015. If you select MM/DD/
YYYY , the date will display, for example,
12/31/2015. If you select YYYY·MM·DD , the
date display will display, for example,
2015-12-31.
MMI settings

Language
The display language as well as the language for
Voice guidance* and the voice recognition sys
tem* can be changed.
The number of languages available depends on
the market .
Units of measurement
The following units can be selected:
-Speed (mph or km/h)
- Distance (miles or kilometers)
-Temperature (°F or 0()
- Fuel consumption (l/lOOkm, mpg (US), mpg
(UK) or km/l)
-Volume (liters, gallons)
Operating tips
When the function is switched on~. your MM!
shows you operating tips for input. The frequency
of how often it displays decreases with time. You
can switch off the operating tips at any time.
Voice recognition*
Command display : the display of possible com
mands during voice input can be switched on or
off.
Short dialog : prompts in a shorter format can be
switched on
or off.
Speech dialog system volume: you can adjust
the volume of the announcements by turning the
control knob.
Individual speech training (only when the vehi
cle is
stationary): you can adapt the voice recog
nition
system to your voice or pronunciation in
order to imp rove the system's ability to recognize
your speech. Individual training is comprised of
20 speech entries that consist of commands and
sequences of numbers. You can delete the pro
grammed voice training with the Reset individu
al speech training function .
Factory default settings
The following functions can be reset to the facto
ry default settings:

cell phone from the list of all the cell phones
that are already connected.
Additional options
Depending on the selected function, you can use
the right control button to access the available
additional options in the connection manager.
Bluetooth settings
-Bluetooth : when the function is switched on
~, the Bluetooth symbol appears in the Info
tainment system display. The MMI visibility for
Bluetooth devices can be turned on or off using
the Visible /Invi sible settings. Howeve r, it is
still possible to establish a Bluetooth connec
tion w ith pa ired devices when the visibility is
switched off. Bluetooth shoul d be switched t o
Invisible when the pairing process is complete
so that the MMI is not visible to others. Blue
tooth can be switched off. Then a Bluetooth
connection is not possible.
-Delete Bluetooth device: the selected cell
phone/mobile device is disconnected from the
MMI.
-Show Bluetooth profi les: you can individually
Connect or Dis connect the H andsfree , Car
phone and Directory/contacts profiles.
- Bluetooth audio player : switch this function on
~to select the Bluetooth audio player as a
source in the Media menu.
-Bluetooth name: the MMI Bluetooth name (for
example ,,AUDI MMI 2613") is displayed and
can be changed.
Online settings*
-Data connection settings: see~ page 127,
Configuring
the data connection
- Data usage coun ter : the amount of data pack
ets that are sent and received through the MMI
is displayed. You can reset the data usage infor
mation to zero using the Reset data cou nter
option.
-Netwo rk status: the mobile network provider
for data service as well as the network status
are displayed.

Wi-Fi settings*
See ~page 126, Wi-Fi Hotspot.
SIM PIN settings*
-Automatic PIN en try : when this function is
switched on~, the SIM PIN is automatically
saved in the MMI after it is entered for the first
time. The SIM PIN for four different SIM cards
can be saved in the MMI. With the function
switched off, the currently stored SIM PIN is
deleted from the MMI. When the automatic
PIN entry is switched on, there are no SIM PIN
prompts.
- Disable PIN query : when switched on, there are
no SIM PIN queries. The automatic PIN entry is
not used in this case.
-Change PIN: you can change the PIN on your
SIM card. First enter the current SIM PIN. The
SIM PIN can only contain digits 0-9. The new
SIM PIN must be entered twice for security and
then it will be saved to the SIM card.
Network settings*
- Logi
n: you can chose an autom atic login to
your cell phone service provider's network, or
you can choose a manual login from the list of
available networks.
-Netwo rk selection : available networks in the
present location can be selected under network
selection. This function is only available for the
manual login setting.

Some SIM cards do not allow the SIM PIN
queries to be switched off.
System update
