HomeLink® Garage Opener
Program your vehicle to operate up to three remote-controlled devices around your
home—such as garage doors, lighting, or home security systems—using the buttons
on the ceiling.
Training a Button
Park near the system you want to program, and follow the instructions in the
flowchart below.
To retrain a button or erase codes, see the Owner’s Manual on the Owner
Information CD or at owners.acura.com (U.S.) or www.myacura.ca (Canada).

Climate Control System
Set your preferred interior temperature by selecting the proper mix of heated or
cooled air and fan speed. Use the buttons to operate the system.
On vehicles with ODMD, climate information is displayed on the screen, but cannot
be selected via touch. Adjust the climate settings using the buttons.

Seat Heaters*
Quickly warm the seats when the vehicle is on.
Press the seat heater switch in the front console to
the LO or HI position. An indicator appears for the
selected setting.
LO: Slowly warm the seat, or to maintain continuous
heating.
HI: Quickly warm the seat. If left in HI, the heater
cycles on and off.
Return the switch to the middle position to turn off.

Basic Audio Operation
Connect audio devices and operate buttons and displays for the audio system.
USB Connection
Connect a USB flash drive or other audio device, such as an iPod® or iPhone®.
USB adapter cable*
1. Open the front pocket. Unclip the USB adapter
cable.
2. Install the flash drive or cable connector to the
USB adapter cable.
USB port*
1. Open the center console. Open the USB port
cover.
2. Connect the device to the USB port.
HDMI Port*
Connect an HDMI cable.
1. Open the center console. Open the HDMI port
cover.
2. Insert an HDMI cable to the HDMI port.
Auxiliary Input Jack*
Connect standard audio devices with a 1/8-inch (3.5 mm) stereo miniplug.
1. Open the center console. Open the AUX cover.
2. Connect the device to the input jack. Use the
device to control the audio.
Heat-induced burns are possible when using seat heaters.
Persons with a diminished ability to sense temperature (e.g., persons with
diabetes, lower-limb nerve damage, or paralysis) or with sensitive skin should
not use the seat heaters.

Compact Disc (CD) or USB Flash Drive
Insert a CD to begin playing. The audio system supports audio CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-
RWs in MP3, WMA, or AAC formats.
Connect your USB flash drive using the USB adapter cable (see page 47). The
audio system supports MP3, WMA, or AAC files.

Searching for Music
Use the selector knob to search for tracks stored on the iPod.
1. From the audio screen, press the selector knob
to enter the iPod menu.
2. Select a search type (artist, album, track, etc.).
3. Select the song you want to play.

When music CDs are inserted, they are automatically recorded by system default
onto the built-in HDD for later playback.

2. Select Music Search.
3. Select a search type (artist, album, track, etc.).
4. Select the song you want to play.
You can also search for and play HDD music using Song By Voice™
