Function view buttons
The Function view, which is one of the center display's basic views, contains all of the vehicle's on-screen function buttons. From the Homeview, swipe from left to right on the screen tocome to the Function view.Different types of buttonsThere are three different types of vehicle function buttons as listed in the following table.

Function buttonsHave On/Off modes. An LED indicator light to the left of the button's icon will illuminate when a function is active. Press the button to turn the function on or off.Most of the buttons in the function view are function buttons.
Start buttonsDo not have On/Off modes. Pressing a start button opens a function's window, e.g., a window for adjusting the driver's seat.•Camera.

Head-up display adjustments.
Parking buttonsHave On/Off and scanning modes. Similar to function buttons but have an additional parking scanning mode.•Park In.

Button modes
A function is activated (on) when the LED indicator is green
A function is deactivated (off) when the LED indicator is off
When a function or parking button's LED indica- tor is green, the function is activated. When a function is initially activated, an additional text willbe displayed (certain functions only) in the buttonfor approx. 5 seconds, after which the button willbe displayed with the LED indicator illuminated. Press the button briefly to deactivate the func- tion.

A child seat should never be used in the front passenger seat of any vehicle with a frontpassenger airbag – not even if the "Passen-ger airbag off" symbol near the rear-view mir-ror is illuminated (on vehicles equipped withOccupant Weight Sensor). If the severity of anaccident were to cause the airbag to inflate,this could lead to serious injury or death to achild seated in this position.

Top tether anchors
Your Volvo is equipped with child restraint top tether anchorages in the rear seat. They arelocated on the rear side of the backrests.

Securing a child seat1. Place the child restraint on the rear seat.
2. Route the top tether strap under the head restraint and attach it to the anchor.
3. Attach lower tether straps to the lower ISO- FIX/LATCH anchors. If the child restraint is not equipped with lower tether straps, or therestraint is used in the center seating posi-tion, follow instructions for securing a childrestraint using the Automatic LockingRetractor seat belt.
–Firmly tension all straps.
Refer also to the child seat manufacturer's instructions for information on securing the childseat.
NOTE
On models equipped with the optional cargo area cover, this cover should be removedbefore a child seat is attached to the childrestraint anchors.
WARNING
• Always refer to the recommendations made by the child restraint manufacturer.
• Volvo recommends that the top tetheranchors be used when installing a for-ward-facing child restraint.
• Never route a top tether strap over thetop of the head restraint. The strapshould be routed beneath the headrestraint.
• Child restraint anchorages are designedto withstand only those loads imposed bycorrectly fitted child restraints. Under nocircumstances are they to be used foradult seat belts or harnesses. The ancho-rages are not able to withstand excessiveforces on them in the event of collision iffull harness seat belts or adult seat beltsare installed to them. An adult who uses a

The center head restraint should be adjusted up or down according to the passenger's height. Therestraint should be carefully adjusted to supportthe occupant's head. To lower the head restraint, press and hold the button (see the illustration) and push the headrestraint down carefully.
WARNING
The center rear seat head restraint should only be in its lowest position when this seat isNOT occupied. When the center position isoccupied, the head restraint should be cor-rectly adjusted to the passenger
