Locking
F With the ignition key, turn the red control one quarter of a turn:

Removing a wheel
Parking the vehicle
Immobilise the vehicle where it does not
block traffic: the ground must be level,
stable and not slippery.
Apply the parking brake, switch off the
ignition and engage first gear* to block
the wheels.
Check that the parking brake warning
lamps in the instrument panel come on.
The occupants must get out of the
vehicle and wait where they are safe.
Ensure that the jack is correctly
positioned at one of the vehicle's
jacking points.
Incorrect use of the jack could cause
the vehicle to drop.
Never go underneath a vehicle raised
using a jack; use an axle stand.
List of operations
F Remove the bolt cover from each of the bolts using the tool 3 (according to
equipment).

lacken the bolts using the wheelbrace 1
o n l y.
Do not use:

he jack for any other purpose than
lifting the vehicle,

ack other than the one supplied
by the manufacturer.

Amber coloured bulbs, such as the
direction indicators, must be replaced
with bulbs of identical specifications
and colour.
When refitting, close the protective
cover carefully to preserve the sealing
of the headlamp.
Rapid flashing of the direction indicator
warning lamp (right or left) indicates the
failure of a bulb on that side.
Changing direction indicator
bulbs
F Turn the bulb holder an eighth of a turn
anti-clockwise and extract it.
F

emove the bulb and change it.
To reassemble, carry out these operations in
reverse order.
Changing main beam headlamp bulbs
F Remove the protective cover by pulling on the tab.
F

isconnect the bulb connector.
F
P
ush the spring to one side to release the
bulb.
F

emove the bulb and change it.
To refit, carry out these operations in reverse
o r d e r.

Changing front foglamp bulbs
F Access to the front foglamp is through the aperture below the bumper.

f necessary, unscrew and completely
remove the cover.

urn the bulb holder a quarter turn anti-
clockwise and pull it out.
F

isconnect the bulb connector.
F
R
emove the bulb and change it.
To refit, carry out these operations in reverse
o r d e r. If you experience any difficulty
in replacing bulbs, contact your
PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Changing direction indicator side
repeaters
F Insert a screwdriver towards the centre of
the repeater between the repeater and the
base on the body.
F

ilt the screwdriver to extract the repeater
and remove it.
F
D
isconnect the repeater connector.
F
R
eplace the module.
To refit, carry out these operations in reverse
o r d e r.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or
a qualified workshop to obtain a
replacement side repeater module.

Battery
Disconnecting the cables
F Raise the locking tab fully.
Reconnecting the cables
F Position the open clip 1 of the cable on the positive terminal (+) of the battery.
F
P
ress vertically on the clip 1 to position it
correctly against the battery.
F
L
ock the clip by spreading the positioning
lug and then lowering the tab 2 .
Do not force the tab as locking will not
be possible if the clip is not positioned
correctly; start the procedure again.
Procedure for charging your battery when it is flat or for starting the engine using another battery.
The battery is located under the bonnet.
To gain access to it:

pen the bonnet using the interior release
lever, then the exterior safety catch,
F
s
ecure the bonnet stay,
F
r
emove the plastic cover on
the (+) terminal.

Towing the vehicle
Access to the tools
The towing eye is installed in the boot under
t h e f l o o r.
To gain access to it:

pen the boot,
F
l
ift the floor and remove it,
F
r
emove the towing eye from the holder.
General recommendations
Observe the legislation in force in your country.
Ensure that the weight of the towing vehicle is higher than that of the towed vehicle.
The driver must remain at the wheel of the towed vehicle and must have a valid driving
licence.
When towing a vehicle with all four wheels on the ground, always use an approved towing
arm; rope and straps are prohibited.
The towing vehicle must move off gently.
When towing a vehicle with the engine off, there is no longer any power assistance for
braking or steering.
In the following cases, you must always call on a professional recovery service:

ehicle broken down on a motor way or fast road,
-
f
our-wheel drive vehicle,
-
when it is not possible to put the gearbox into neutral, unlock the steering, or release the parking brake,- towing with only two wheels on the ground,
- w here there is no approved towing arm available...

F On the front bumper, unclip the cover by
pressing on the left edge.

crew the towing eye in fully.

nstall the towing bar. Put the gear lever into neutral
(position

automatic gearbox).
Failure to follow this instruction may
cause damage to some components
(braking, transmission...) and the
absence of braking assistance when
the engine is restarted.
F U nlock the steering by turning the key
in the ignition one notch and release the
parking brake.

witch on the hazard warning lamps on
both vehicles.
F
M
ove off gently, drive slowly and for a short
distance. This towing is strictly prohibited (risk of
damaging your vehicle).

AUDIO
Press the SRC/BAND button several
times in succession and select the FM1,
FM2 or AM waveband.
Press a button to listen to the
corresponding preset station. Press to change to the next or previous
letter (e.g. A, B, D, F, G, J, K, ...).
Radio
Select the desired radio station then
confirm by pressing
OK.
Selecting a station
Make a long press on LIST to construct
or update the list of stations; the sound
is interrupted temporarily.
The external environment (hills, buildings, tunnels, basement car
parks) may block reception, including in RDS mode. This is a normal
effect of the way in which radio waves are transmitted and does not
indicate any failure of the audio equipment.
Selecting a preset station
Make a long press on a button to
preset the station being listened to. The
name of the station is displayed and an
audible signal confirms that it has been
preset. Press LIST
to display the list of stations
received, in alphabetical order.
