When parking in areas with limited overhead height
After leaving the vehicle or unloading the luggage, the vehicle height may be
slightly higher than normal. Take care when overhead height is limited. ■
To avoid damage to the vehicle ●
Normal mode will be switched to automatically even if the vehicle is started off in
low mode. Take care when overhead height is limited. ●
Do not select the low mode when driving on bumpy roads, as the underbody of
the vehicle may contact the road surface. ●
When traveling on bumpy roads or throug h water, or when towing, turn off easy
access mode.■
Avoid rapid changes to the vehicle height
As the pump may overheat. Leave at a few seconds between selections when
changing the vehicle height mode.

Maintenance and care

The coolant level is satisfactory if it is between the “F” and “L” lines on the
reservoir when the engine is cold.
Reservoir cap

“L” If the level is on or below the “L”
line, add coolant up to the “F” line.

If the coolant level drops within a short time of replenishing
Visually check the radiator, hoses, reservoi r cap, radiator cap, drain cock and water
pump.
If you cannot find a leak, have your Lexus dealer test the cap and check for leaks in
the cooling system. ■
Coolant selection
Only use “Toyota Super Long Life Coolant” or similar high quality ethylene glycol
based non-silicate, non-amine, non-nitrite, and non-bora te coolant with long-life
hybrid organic acid technology.
U.S.A.: “Toyota Super Long Life Coolant” is a mixture of 50% coolant and 50%
deionized water. (Enabled: -31 F [-35 C])
Canada: “Toyota Super Long Life Coolant” is a mixture of 55% coolant and 45%
deionized water. (Enabled: -44 F [-42 C])
