If you have an accident, insist onGenuine Infiniti Collision
Parts. If you want your vehicle to be restored using parts
made to Infiniti’s original exacting specifications – if you
want it to last, help to protect your personal safety and to
help hold its resale value, the solution is simple. Tell your
insurance agent and your repair shop to use only Genuine
Infiniti Collision Parts.
Many non-genuine parts are copies made from impres-
sions of Infiniti parts and may not match the specifica-
tions and performance standards of Genuine Infiniti
Parts. As a result, non-genuine parts may not look or fit
right, and may be less safe.
The hood on your vehicle is a good example. Infiniti de-
signed it with hood buckling creases to help prevent the
hood from penetrating the interior of your vehicle in an
accident. Non-genuine parts may not provide such built-in
safeguards.
In some states, the law says you must be advised if non-
genuine parts are used to repair your vehicle. Why should
you take a chance?Replacement Panel Limited Lifetime Corrosion
Warranty*
See your participating Infiniti retailer for details.
If you have your collision damage repaired using Genuine
Infiniti Outer Sheet Metal Panels you don’t have to worry
about corrosion. That’s because these panels are war-
ranted against inside out rust-through perforation for as
long as you own your Infiniti. Another reason to insist on
Genuine Infiniti Collision Repair Parts.

As a condition of your vehicle’s warranty, you are responsible for properly maintaining your vehicle. In maintaining your
vehicle, you should use these guidelines to determine which maintenance schedule to use.
Standard maintenance;features 5,000 mile or 6 month, whichever comes
first, service intervals and generally applies when you primarily operate your
vehicle on the highway in temperate c onditions. Premium maintenance is an
Infiniti recommended optional upgrade that adds services when mainte-
nance is performed.
Premium Maintenance;
*performing the Premium upgrade services may opti-
mize the performance, durability, relia bility, and resale value of your vehicle.
(Premium Maintenance items are ava ilable at every 30,000 miles or
36 months interval.) Additional maintenance items for severe operating conditions;
should be
performed on vehicles that are driv en under especially demanding
conditions. Additional maintenance items should be performed if you pri-
marily operate your vehicle under the following conditions:
● Repeated short trips of less than 5 miles in normal temperatures or less
than 10 miles in freezing temperatures.
● Stop-and-go traffic in hot weather or low speed driving for long distances

DETERMINING THE PROPER MAINTENANCE INTERVAL

The following descriptions are pro-
vided to give you a better understand-
ing of the scheduled maintenance
items that should be regularly
checked or replaced. The mainte-
nance log indicates at which
mileage/time intervals each item re-
quires service.
In addition to scheduled mainte-
nance, your Infiniti requires that
some items be checked during nor-
mal day-to-day operation. You can
find these items listed under “Gen-
eral Maintenance” in Chapter 8 of
your Owner’s manual.
Items marked with“*”are recom-
mended by Infiniti for reliable vehicle
operation. You are not required to per-
form such maintenance in order to
maintain the emission warranty or
manufacturer recall liability. Other
maintenance items and intervals are
required. When applicable, additional informa-
tion can be found in the “Do-it-
yourself” section in Chapter 8 of your
Owner’s Manual.
NOTE:
Nissan North America
does not advocate the use
of non-OEM approved
aftermarket flushing
systems and strongly
advises against performing
these services on a Infinti
product. Many of the
aftermarket flushing
systems use non- OEM
approved chemicals or
solvents, the use of which
has not been validated by
Nissan North America.
For recommended fuel, lubricants,
fluids, grease, and refrigerant refer to
Chapter 9 in your Owner’s Manual.
