TURN SIGNAL/WIPER/WASHER/HIGH BEAM LEVER
Turn Signal/Lane Change Assist
•Taptheleverupordownonceandtheturnsignal(rightorleft)willflashthreetimesand
automatically turn off.
NOTE:
Vehicles equipped with Blind Spot Monitoring will produce a visual alert and may be
programmed to produce an audible alert when signaling a lane change; refer to your
Owner’s Manual on the DVD for operation.
Front Wipers
Intermittent, Low And High Operation
•Rotatetheendofthelevertothefirstdetentpositionforoneoffiveintermittent
settings, the second detent for low wiper operation and the third detent for high wiper
operation.
Rain Sensing Wipers
This feature senses moisture on the vehicle’s windshield and automatically activates the
wipers for the driver when the switch is in the intermittent positions. Refer to “Program-
mable Features” in “Electronics” for further details.

Mist
•Pushtheendoftheleverinwardtothefirstdetentwhenasinglewipeisdesired.
NOTE:
The mist feature does not activate the washer pump; therefore, no washer fluid will be
sprayed on the windshield. The wash function must be activated in order to spray the
windshield with washer fluid.
Washer Operation
•Pushtheendoftheleverinwardtotheseconddetentandholdforaslongassprayis
desired.
Rear Wiper
•Rotatethecenterportionoftheleverforwardtothefirstdetentforrearwiperoperation.
Rear Washer
•Rotatethecenterportionoftheleverpastthefirstdetenttoactivatetherearwasher.
High Beams
•Pushtheleverawayfromyoutoactivatethehighbeams.
Ahighbeamsymbolwillilluminateintheclustertoindicatethehighbeamsareon.
NOTE:
For safe driving, turn off the high beams when oncoming traffic is present to prevent
headlight glare and as a courtesy to other motorists.
Flash To Pass
•Pullthelevertowardyoutoactivatethehighbeams.Thehighbeamswillremainon
until the lever is released.

Automatic Headlights/Parking
Lights/Headlights
•Rotatetheheadlightswitch,locatedon
the instrument panel to the left of the
steering wheel, to the first detent for
parking lightsand to the second
detent for headlights.
•Withtheparkinglightsorlowbeam
headlights on, push the headlight switch
once for fog lights.
•RotatetheheadlightswitchtoAUTOfor
Automatic Headlights.
•WhensettoAUTO,thesystemautomati-
cally turns the headlights on or off based
on ambient light levels.
Automatic High Beams
•TheAutomaticHighBeamssystempro-
vides increased forward lighting at night
by automating high beam control
through the use of a digital camera
mounted on the inside rearview mirror. This camera detects vehicle specific light and
automatically switches from high beams to low beams until the approaching vehicle is
out of view.
Instrument Panel Dimmer
•Rotatethedimmercontroltotheextremebottompositiontofullydimtheinstrument
panel lights and prevent the interior lights from illuminating when a door is opened.
•Rotatethedimmercontroluptoincreasethebrightnessoftheinstrumentpanelwhen
the parking lights or headlights are on.
•Rotatethedimmercontroluptothenextdetentpositiontofullybrightentheodometer
and radio when the parking lights or headlights are on.
•Rotatethedimmercontroluptothelastdetentpositiontoturnontheinteriorlighting.
If your vehicle is equipped with a touchscreen, the dimming is programmable through the
Uconnect®system. Refer to “Uconnect®Settings ” in “Understanding Your Instrument
Panel” in the Owner's Manual on the DVD for further details.
Overhead (Halo) Light
•ToactivatetheHalolights,rotatetheHaloswitchcontrolupwardordownwardto
increase or decrease the lighting.

Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) — If Equipped
Personal Settings allows you to set and recall features when the transmission is in PARK.
If the transmission is out of PARK or the vehicle begins moving, a warning message
SYSTEM SETUP NOT AVAILABLE VEHICLE NOT IN PARK displays when you try to select
“System Setup” from the main menu.
The EVIC can be used to program the following Personal Settings. Push the RIGHT arrow
buttonuntil Personal Settings displays, then push the DOWN buttonto scroll
through the settings. Push the RIGHT arrow buttonto change the setting.

Key Fob Programmable Features
The following features may also be programmed by using the Key Fob transmitter or the
ignition switch and driver's door lock switch.
NOTE:
Pushing the LOCK button while you are inside the vehicle will activate the Vehicle Security
Alarm. Opening a door with the Vehicle Security Alarm activated will cause the alarm to
sound. Push the UNLOCK button to deactivate the Vehicle Security Alarm.
Unlock On First Press

-ElectronicStabilityControl(ESC)IndicatorLight
If this indicator light flashes during acceleration, apply as little throttle as possible. While
driving, ease up on the accelerator. Adapt your speed and driving to the prevailing road
conditions. To improve the vehicle's traction when starting off in deep snow, sand or
gravel, it may be desirable to switch the ESC system off.
INSTRUMENT CLUSTER INDICATOR LIGHTS
-TurnSignalIndicator
The arrows will flash with the exterior turn signals when the turn signal lever is operated.
Atonewillchime,andaEVICmessagewillappearifeitherturnsignalisleftonformore
than 1 mile (1.6 km).
NOTE:
If either indicator flashes at a rapid rate, check for a defective outside light bulb.
-HighBeamIndicator
Indicates that headlights are on high beam.
-FrontFogLightIndicator
This indicator will illuminate when the front fog lights are on.
-VehicleSecurityLight
This light will flash rapidly for approximately 15 seconds when the vehicle theft alarm is
arming. The light will flash at a slower speed continuously after the alarm is set. The
security light will also come on for about three seconds when the ignition is first turned on.
-ElectronicStabilityControl(ESC)OFFIndicatorLight
This light indicates the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is off.
-ElectronicSpeedControlONIndicator
This indicator will illuminate when the electronic speed control has been activated to the
“ON” position.
-ElectronicSpeedControlSETIndicator
This indicator will illuminate when the cruising speed has been set.
OIL CHANGE REQUIRED

Required message will display in the EVIC display for approximately 10 seconds, after a
single chime has sounded, to indicate the next scheduled oil change interval. The engine
oil change indicator system is duty-cycle based, which means the engine oil change
interval may fluctuate dependent upon your personal driving style.
