The rear full center console contains both an upper and a
lower storage area.
To open the upper storage compartment, pull upward on
the small latch located on the front of the lid.

An open storage area, or cubby bin with removable liner,
is located in the front of the console.
CARGO AREA FEATURES
Rechargeable Flashlight
The rechargeable flashlight is mounted on the left side of
the cargo area. The flashlight snaps out of the bezel when
needed. The flashlight features two bright LED light
bulbs and is powered by rechargeable lithium batteries
that recharge when snapped back into place.

iPod®/USB/MP3 CONTROL — IF EQUIPPED
This feature allows an iPod® or external USB device to be
plugged into the USB port, located in the lower section of
the front integrated center stack, in front of the rotary
shifter.
iPod® control supports Mini, 4G, Photo, Nano, 5G iPod®
and iPhone® devices. Some iPod® software versions
may not fully support the iPod® control features. Please
visit Apple’s website for software updates.
For further information, refer to the Uconnect® Supple-
ment Manual.
Connecting The iPod® Or External USB Device
Use the connection cable to connect an iPod® or external
USB device to the vehicles USB/AUX connector port
which is located in the center console.
Once the audio device is connected and synchronized to
the vehicles iPod®/USB/MP3 control system (iPod® or

Second row USB connector ports can be used for charging
purposes only. Use the connection cable to connect an

Blu-ray™ Disc Player
Play A Blu-ray™ Disc
The Blu-ray™ Disc player is located in the center console.
To view a Blu-ray™ insert the disc into the Blu-ray™ Disc
Player. Playback will begin automatically after the Blu-
ray™ Disc is recognized by the disc drive. If playback
does not begin automatically after the disc is inserted into
Blu-ray™ Disc Player follow these steps:

When the Fuel Economy (ECO) Mode is engaged, the
vehicle control systems will change the following:
•The transmission will upshift sooner and downshift
later.
•The overall driving performance will be more conser-
vative.
•Some ECO mode functions may be temporarily inhib-
ited based on temperature and other factors.
Eight-Speed Automatic Transmission
The transmission is controlled using a rotary electronic
gear selector located on the center console. The transmis-
sion gear range (PRND) is displayed both above the gear
selector and in the Driver Information Display (DID). To
select a gear range, simply rotate the gear selector. You
must also press the brake pedal to shift the transmission
out of PARK, or to shift from NEUTRAL into DRIVE or
REVERSE when the vehicle is stopped or moving at low
speeds (refer to “Brake/Transmission Shift Interlock Sys-
tem” in this section). To shift past multiple gear ranges at
once (such as PARK to DRIVE), simply rotate the gear
selector to the appropriate detent. Select the DRIVE range
for normal driving.

Electronically Shifted Transfer Case
(Three-Position Switch) — If Equipped
This is an electronic shift transfer case and it is operated
by the AWD Control Switch, which is located on the
center console.
This electronically shifted transfer case provides three
mode positions:
•All-wheel drive automatic range (AWD AUTO)
•All-wheel drive low range (LOW RANGE)
•Neutral (NEUTRAL)

2. Open the center console and locate the Manual Park
Release cover, remove it by snapping the cover away
from the console hinges.
3. Using a screwdriver or similar tool, push the metal
latch in towards the tether strap.
