This system requires a 12 V battery with a special specification and technology (reference

Fitting
a battery not listed by CITROËN

Speed limiter "LIMIT"
System which prevents the vehicle from exceeding the speed programmed by the driver.

the programmed speed limit is reached,

Cruise control "CRUISE"
System which automatically maintains the speed of the vehicle at the value programmed by the driver, without any action on the accelerator pedal.
The cruise control system cannot, in any circumstances, replace the need to observe speed limits, nor can it replace the need for vigilance on the part of the driver.
Y ou are advised to keep your feet near the pedals at all times.
Switching on the cruise control requires a
minimum vehicle speed of 25 mph (40 km/h).
As
well as engagement of:

ourth gear or higher on a manual gearbox,

s
econd gear or higher in manual mode on
a
n electronic or automatic gearbox,

osition A on an electronic gearbox or D on

The cruise control is paused

The system does not act on the braking s ystem, but works only with engine braking.

regulation range is limited: there will

o longer be any adjustment of speed if the

etting and the speed of the vehicle in front

ecomes too high (18 mph (30 km/h)).
The selection of this system deactivates the inter-vehicle time function.

Lane departure warning system
System which, using a camera which recognises solid or broken lines, detects the
i
nvoluntary crossing of longitudinal traffic lane
m
arkings on the ground.
To
provide safe driving, the camera analyses

he image then, if the driver's attention drops,

riggers a warning if the vehicle drifts over
a
lane marking (speed higher than 50 mph
(
80 km/h)).
This
system is particularly useful on motor ways
a
nd main roads. Activation

If the lateral distance between your vehicle a nd the space is too great, the system may n
ot be able to measure the space.
Anything
projecting beyond the envelope

f the vehicle (long or wide load) is not

aken into account by the Park Assist

ystem during a manoeuvre.
In
bad weather or in winter, ensure that

he sensors are not covered by road

irt, ice or snow.
In
the event of a fault, have the system

deactivated
during

anoeuvre,
the
drive
should
reactivate

Operation of the rear foglamps is inhibited with the tailgate open.
Opening
the boot when these lamps are
o
n causes them and their indicator lamp
i
n the instrument panel to go off.
They
do not come back on
a
utomatically when the boot is closed:
t
hey must be switched on again using
t
he control stalk. In
good or rainy weather, by both day a
nd night, the front foglamps and the
r
ear foglamps are prohibited. In these
s
ituations, the power of their beams
m
ay dazzle other drivers. They should
o
nly be used in fog or falling snow.
In
these weather conditions, you should
s
witch on the foglamps and dipped
b
eam headlamps manually, as the
s
unshine sensor may detect sufficient
l
ight.
Do
not forget to switch off the front and
r
ear foglamps when they are no longer
n
ecessary.Switching off the lighting
when switching off the ignition
When the ignition is switched off, all of the lamps switch off immediately, except for the d
ipped beam headlamps if automatic guide-
me-home
lighting is activated.
Switching on the lighting when
switching on the ignition
To reactivate the lighting control stalk, turn the ring A to position "0"
- lighting off, then t
o the position of your choice.
If
the lighting is switched on manually after
s
witching off the ignition, there is an audible
s
ignal when a front door is opened to warn
t
he driver that they have forgotten to switch
o
ff the vehicle's lighting, with the ignition off.
They
switch off automatically after a period
w
hich depends on the state of charge of the
b
attery (entry to energy economy mode).
