These operate when the ignition key
is turned to MAR-ON and for about
three minutes after the ignition key is
turned to STOP or removed unless
one of the doors is opened.

Operation
❒A - Open/close left window;

Push the corresponding buttons to
open/close the desired window.When one of the two buttons is
pressed briefly, the window moves in
stages; if the button is held down
to open, "continuous automatic"
operation is activated.
If the button is pressed again the
window will stop in its current position.
If the button is pressed for several
seconds, the window lowers
automatically (only with ignition key in
MAR-ON position).
Continuous automatic operation

This is activated by pressing one of
the two buttons for longer than half a
second. The window stops when it
reaches the end of travel position, or
when the button is pressed again.
It can be used on both the driver side
and passenger side, only for lowering
the window.
Electric window system
initialisation
For versions/markets where provided,
after a break in power supply for the
control units (battery replaced or
disconnected or protective fuses for the
electric window control units replaced),
the automatic operation of the windows
must be restored.

The restoration procedure must be
performed as described below with the
doors closed:
❒completely open the driver's door
window keeping the operating button
pressed for at least three seconds
after the (lower) end of travel position
is reached;
❒completely raise the driver side
window and hold the button down for
at least 3 seconds once the (upper)
end of travel position has been
reached;
❒proceed in the same way as
described in points 1 and 2 for the
passenger side door;
❒make sure that the initialisation is
correct by checking that the windows
work automatically.
WARNING
20) Incorrect use of the electric
windows may be dangerous.
Before and during their operation
ensure that passengers are not
at risk of injury from the moving
glass, either through personal
objects getting caught in the
mechanism or by being hit by it
directly. When leaving the car,
always remove the key from the
ignition to prevent accidental
operation of the electric windows
from being a hazard for those
still on board.

Pay attention when transporting objects

Plan” includes car maintenance at

starting from 2,000 km (or equivalent
value in miles) before these deadlines
and is activated again every 200 km (or
equivalent value in miles). Below 200
km servicing indications are more
frequent. The indication will appear in
kilometres or miles according to the
"Unit of measurement" settings. In
addition, when the vehicle mileage is
close to a scheduled servicing ("service
coupon"), and the key is turned to
MAR-ON, the
warning light will
appear on the display along with the
word "Service" and followed by the
number of kilometres or miles left
before vehicle servicing. Contact a
dedicated Alfa Romeo Dealership. The
operations in the “Scheduled Servicing
Plan” will be performed and the
message will be reset.Passenger airbags
(Activation/Deactivation

independent manner.
Both records can be reset: i.e. start
of a new journey.
“Trip A” is used to display the values

TRIP RESET button
The TRIP RESET button is located on
the right stalk fig. 64. With the ignition
key at MAR-ON, it allows you to view
the values described previously and
also reset them to begin a new journey:

WARNING The warning light switches on together with a dedicated message and/or acoustic signal when applicable. These
indications are indicative and precautionary and as such must not be considered as exhaustive and/or alternative to the
information contained in the Owner Handbook, which you are advised to read carefully in all cases. Always refer to the
information in this section in the event of a failure indication.
IMPORTANT Failure indications displayed are divided into two categories: very serious and less serious failures. Serious faults
are indicated by a repeated and prolonged warning "cycle". Less serious faults are indicated by warning "cycle" with a shorter
duration. The display cycle of both categories can be interrupted. The instrument panel warning light will stay on until the cause
of the malfunction is eliminated.

The warning light switches on constantly with the
car stationary if the driver’s seat belt is not
fastened.
The warning light flashes and a buzzer will sound
if the car is in motion and the driver’s seat belt is
not correctly fastened.For permanent deactivation of the SBR (Seat Belt
Reminder) system buzzer, contact the dedicated
Alfa Romeo Dealership. The system can be
reactivated using the Setup Menu.

with the message on the display), there may be a fault in the restraint systems; in this case, the airbags or
pretensioners may not deploy in the event of an accident or, in a lower number of cases, they could deploy
erroneously. Before proceeding, contact the dedicated Alfa Romeo Dealership to have the system checked
immediately.

warning light is signalled by the flashing for longer than the usual 4 seconds of thewarning
light. In addition, the airbag system automatically disables the passenger side airbag. In this case, the
warning
