X Drive on carefully.

WARNING
If the display message is shown and the ÷warning lamp flashes
at the same time, the Electronic Traction System is deactivated.
Otherwise, the brakes on the drive wheels could overheat.
X Let the brakes cool down until the display message disappears

Pull over and stop the vehicle safely as soon as possible, paying
attention to road and traffic conditions.
X Secure the vehicle against rolling away (Y page 289).
X Wait until the display message disappears before pulling away. AIRMATIC is defective.

attention to road and traffic conditions. Do not continue driving
under any circumstances.
X Notify a qualified specialist workshop or breakdown service. The display message is shown continuously.
ABC is malfunctioning.
X Do not drive at speeds above 50 mph (80 km/h).
X Make only slight steering movements. Otherwise, the front
fender or the tires could be damaged if the steering movement
is too large.

There is a risk of an accident.
X Stop the vehicle without making any sudden steering or braking
maneuvers. Pay attention to the traffic conditions as you do so.
X Secure the vehicle against rolling away (Y page 289).
X If there is a flat tire, inspect the tires (Y page 437).
X Check the tire pressure (Y page 461).
X If necessary, correct the tire pressure. Caution,
