SORY or IGNITION ON mode.
■When the battery is disconnected
The time display will automatically be set to 1:00.

Outside temperature display
■If the temperature does not appear
The system may be malfunctioning. Take your vehicle to your Lexus dealer or
repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional.
■Display
In the following situations, the correct outside temperature may not be displayed, or
the display may take longer than normal to change:
●When the vehicle is stopped, or moving at low speeds (less than 25 km/h [16
mph])
●When the outside temperature has changed suddenly (at the entrance/exit of a
garage, tunnel, etc.)
The temperature display shows temperatures within the range of -40°C
(-40°F) and 50°C (122°F).

Multi-display light control∗
■Instrument panel linked brightness control
When the headlight switch is turned on, the brightness of the multi-display will be
reduced in accordance with the brightness of the instrument panel. (→P. 1 9 7 )

Washer fluid
If any washer does not work or the
warning message appears on the
multi-information display, the
washer tank may be empty. Add
washer fluid.
NOTICE
■When recharging the battery
Never recharge the battery while the engine is running. Also, be sure all accesso-
ries are turned off.
CAUTION
■When adding washer fluid
Do not add washer fluid when the engine is hot or running as washer fluid contains
alcohol and may catch fire if spilled on the engine etc.
NOTICE
■Do not use any fluid other than washer fluid
Do not use soapy water or engine antifreeze instead of washer fluid.
Doing so may cause streaking on the vehicle’s painted surfaces.
■Diluting washer fluid
Dilute washer fluid with water as necessary.
Refer to the freezing temperatures listed on the label of the washer fluid bottle.
