Water in diesel filter (amber)When the key is turned to MAR, the warning
light switches on but it s hould switch off after
a few s econds. The warning light turn s on when
there is water in the dies el filter. The display will s how the
dedicated message.

The presence of water in the supply circuit may
cause severe damage to the injection system and
irregular engine operation. If
cwarning light
lights up (on some versions with the message on the dis-
play), go to a Lancia Dealership as soon as possible
to have the system bled. Water may have entered the
tank if this appears immediately after refuelling: if this
happens, switch the engine off immediately and con-
tact a Lancia Dealership.
ABS failure (amber)
When the key is turned to MAR, the warning
light switches on but it s hould switch off after
a few s econds. The warning light will light up
when the system i s either not working or not available.
In this case the braking system will work as normal, but
without the extra performance offered b y the ABS .
Drive carefully and go to a Lancia Dealer ship as s oon as
possible.
The dis play will s how the dedicated me ssage.

PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
The following devices are us ed for reducing emi ssions:
❍ oxidizing catal ytic converter;
❍ exhaus t gas recirculation system (EG R).
❍ dies el particulate filter (DPF) (for ver sions /markets ,
where provided).
Under normal operating conditions, the cat-
alytic converter becomes very hot. Do not
park the vehicle on grass, dry leaves, pine
needles or other flammable material: fire hazard.

by the warning light or message (if present) in the instrument panel and must never exceed 24 months.
If the car is mainly used in towns and cities, change the engine oil and filter every 12 months.
