Instrument panel
1. Energy consumption / generation indicator (available power as a percentage). For more information refer to the "Hybrid system" section. 2. Fuel gauge. 3. Engine coolant temperature gauge. 4. Speedometer (mph or km/h). 5. Cruise control or speed limiter settings.
A. Main lighting and controls dimmer. B. - Successive short presses: under-inflation detection, recall servicing information, alert log. - Long press: reset the function selected to zero (service indicator or trip recorder).
6. Gear engaged. 7. Instrument panel screen: electrical flow, trip recorder, alert messages or state of functions (e.g.: oil pressure, battery, door open, ...), trip computer, media, satellite navigation. 8. Digital speedometer (mph or km/h). 9. Ready lamp: indicates that the vehicle is ready to drive.

Warning lamps
With the hybrid system active or when the vehicle is being driven, illumination of one of the following warning lamps indicates a fault which requires action on the part of the driver. Any fault resulting in the illumination of a warning lamp must be investigated further by reading the associated message in the instrument panel screen. If you encounter any problems, contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.

STOP fixed, associated with another warning lamp, accompanied by an audible signal and a message in the screen.
Illumination of this warning lamp is related to a serious fault with the braking system, power steering, engine oil pressure, engine coolant temperature or hybrid system or to a major electrical fault.
Stop as soon as it is safe to do so as the engine may cut out. Park, switch off the ignition and call a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.

Coolant temperature
gauge
With the hybrid system active: - in zone A , the temperature is correct, - in zone B , the temperature is too high; the central STOP warning lamp comes on, accompanied by an audible signal and a message in the instrument panel screen. You must stop as soon as it is safe to do so. Wait a few minutes before switching off the engine. Contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
After driving for a few minutes, the temperature and pressure in the cooling system increase. To top up the level:  wait for the engine to cool,  unscrew the cap by two turns to allow the pressure to drop,  when the pressure has dropped, remove the cap,  top up the level to the "MA X" mark.
Be aware of the risk of burns when topping up the cooling system. Do not fill above the maximum level (indicated on the reservoir).

We recommend the use of genuine CITROËN towbars and their harnesses that have been tested and approved from the design stage of your vehicle, and that the fitting of the towbar is
entrusted to a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop. If the towbar is not fitted by a CITROËN dealer, it is imperative that it is fitted in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's instructions.
Driving advice
Distribution of loads
 Distribute the load in the trailer so that the heaviest items are as close as possible to the axle and the nose weight approaches the maximum permitted without exceeding it. Air density decreases with altitude, thus
reducing engine performance. Above 1 000 metres, the maximum towed load must be reduced by 10 % for every 1 000 metres of altitude.
Side wind
 Take into account the increased sensitivity to side wind.
Cooling
Towing a trailer on a slope increases the temperature of the coolant. As the fan is electrically controlled, its cooling capacity is not dependent on the engine speed.  To lower the engine speed, reduce your speed.
 If the warning lamp and the STOP warning lamp come on, stop the vehicle and switch off the engine as soon as possible.
Braking
Towing a trailer increases the braking distance. To avoid overheating of the brakes on a long mountain type of descent, the use of engine braking is recommended.
Ty r e s
 Check the tyre pressures of the towing vehicle and of the trailer, observing the recommended pressures.
Lighting
 Check the electrical lighting and signalling on the trailer.
The rear parking sensors will be deactivated automatically if a genuine CITROËN towbar is used.
Driving with a trailer places greater demands on the towing vehicle and the driver must take particular care.
The maximum towed load on a long incline depends on the gradient and the ambient temperature. In all cases, keep a check on the coolant temperature.
Refer to the "Technical data" section for details of the weights and towed loads which apply to your vehicle.

The various caps and covers allow access for checking the levels of the various fluids, for replacing certain components and for priming the fuel system.

Before doing anything under the bonnet, switch off the ignition ( Readylamp off) to avoid any risk of injury resulting from automatic operation of the engine.
The brake fluid level should be close to the "MA X" mark. If it is not, check the brake pad wear.

The brake fluid must conform to the manufacturer's recommendations.
The power steering fluid level should be close to the "MA X" mark. With the engine cold, unscrew the cap to check the level.

Coolant level
The coolant level should be close to the "MA X" mark but should never exceed it.
When the engine is warm, the temperature of the coolant is regulated by the fan.
In addition, as the cooling system is pressurised, wait at least one hour after switching off the engine before carrying out any work. To avoid any risk of scalding, unscrew the cap by two turns to allow the pressure to drop. When the pressure has dropped, remove the cap and top up the level.

The cooling fan may star t after switching off the engine: take care with ar ticles and clothing that might become caught by the fan blades.
