Practical information








Very cold climate screen(s) *

Removable protective screen(s) which prevents the accumulation of snow at the radiator cooling fan.
Depending on version, you have one or two screens.
Fitting

Offer up the corresponding screen to thelower or upper section of the front bumper. )
Press around its edge to engage its fixing clips one by one.


Removal
)
Use a screwdriver as a lever to releaseeach of the fixings of each screen in turn.

Do not forget to remove the very coldclimate screen (or screens):


- when the ambient temperature exceeds 10 °C,

- when towing,

- at speeds above 75 mph (120 km/h).

Closing

Take the stay out of the support notch. )
Clip the stay in its housing.)
Lower the bonnet and release it near theend of its travel.)
Pull on the bonnet to check that it is fully
latched.
) Unclip the bonnet stay from its housing. )
Fix the stay in the notch to hold the bonnetopen.
Do not open the bonnet when there is a very strong wind.When the engine is hot, handle the exterior safety catch and the stay with care (risk of burns).

Push the exterior safety catch to the leftand raise the bonnet.

located in the lower dashboard.

Checking this system must be done by aCITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop. Unless there is a leak in the circuit, a drop in
the brake fluid level indicates that the brake pads are worn.

Installing a child seat using the seat belt In accordance with European regulations, this table indicates the options for installing child seats secured using a seat belt and universally approved (a)in accordance with the weight of the child and the seat in the vehicle.

(d) To install a child seat at the rear, rear ward or for ward facing, move the seat in front for ward, then straighten the backrest to allow enough space for the child seat and the child's legs. (e) When a "rear ward facing" child seat is installed on the front passenger seat , the passenger's airbag must be deactivated. Otherwise, the child would risk being seriously injured or killed if the airbag were deployed . When a "for ward facing" child seat is installed on the front passenger seat , the passenger's airbag must remain activate.
Remove and stow the head restraint before installing a child seat with a backrest on a passenger seat. Refit the head restraint once the child seat has been removed.
