injured!
- Exercise caution when adjusting the seat
height. Unsupervised or careless seat ad
justment can pinch fingers or hands causing injuries.
- While the vehicle is moving, the seat
backs of the front seats must not be in
clined too far to the rear because the ef
fectiveness of the safety belts and the
airbag system is severely compromised -
there is a risk of injury.
- To reduce the risk of injury in the case of
sudden braking or accident, front pas
sengers must never ride in a moving ve
hicle with the seatback reclined . Safety
belts and the airbag system only offer
maximum protection when the seatback
is upright and the safety belts are prop
erly positioned on the body. The more
the seatback is reclined, the greater the
risk of personal injury from an incorrect
seating position and improperly posi
tioned safety belts .
