Check the connection and condition of the injection computer connector, component code 120.
If the connectors are faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or Technical
Note 9804A (Dacia), Electrical wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the connector, otherwise
replace the wiring.
Check the insulation, continuity and the absence of interference resistance on the following connections:
●3FAB between components 120 and 1066,
●3LD (or 3NAJ) between components 120 and 1066.
If the connection(s) are faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or
Technical Note 9804A (Dacia), Repairing electrical wiring, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the wiring,
otherwise replace it.
Measure the resistance of the fuel temperature sensor between the following connections:
●3FAB between components 120 and 1066,
●3LD (or 3NAJ) between components 120 and 1066.
If the resistance of the fuel temperature sensor is not approximately 2.2 k at 25°C, replace the sensor (see MR
388 (Logan/Sandero), MR 451 (Duster), MR 423 (Thalia 2/Symbol 2) or MR 374 (Kangoo VLL), Mechanical,

NOTESConditions for applying the fault finding procedure to a stored fault:
The fault is present when the starter is operating or the engine is running at idle
speed.
Special note:

Check the connection and condition of the cylinder reference sensor connector, component code 746.
Check the connection and condition of the injection computer connector, component code 120.
If the connectors are faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or Technical
Note 9804A (Dacia), Electrical wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the connector, otherwise
replace the wiring.
Check for + 12 V after ignition feed on connection 3FB (or 3FB2 or 3FBA) of the connector of the cylinder
reference sensor, component code 746.
If the connection is faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or Technical
Note 9804A (Dacia), Electrical wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the wiring, otherwise
replace it.
Check the insulation, continuity and the absence of interference resistance on the following connections:
●3CQ (or 3DRB) between components 120 and 746,
●3PL (or 3DRC) between components 120 and 746,
●3FB (or 3FB2 or 3FBA) between components 746 and 983.
If the connection(s) are faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or
Technical Note 9804A (Dacia), Repairing electrical wiring, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the wiring,
otherwise replace it.
Check the timing adjustment (see MR 388 (Logan/Sandero), MR 451 (Duster), MR 423 (Thalia 2/Symbol 2) or
MR 374 (Kangoo VLL), Mechanical, 11A, Top and front of engine, Timing belt: Removal - Refitting).

– Pedal sensor gang 1 and 2, component code 921.
– Exhaust gas recirculation valve position sensor, component code 1460.
– Injection air flow sensor, component code 799.
If the connectors are faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or Technical
Note 9804A (Dacia), Electrical wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the connector, otherwise
replace the wiring.
Check the condition and connection of the injection computer connectors, component code 120.
If the connectors are faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or Technical
Note 9804A (Dacia), Electrical wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the connector, otherwise
replace the wiring.
To locate an internal fault on one of the sensors with a + 5 V feed (short circuit), disconnect each of the sensors in
the list above in turn, checking after each disconnection whether the fault changes status from present to stored.
If the faulty sensor is located, check its connections and that it is in order.
If necessary replace the sensor.

A fault on one of these sensors could lead to incorrect fault finding on the
accelerometer.
Conditions for applying the fault finding procedure to a stored fault:
The fault is considered present when the engine is running.
