Check the condition and connection of the air temperature sensor connector, component code 272.
Check the connection and condition of the injection computer connector, component code 120.
If the connectors are faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or Technical
Note 9804A (Dacia), Electrical wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the connectors, otherwise
replace the wiring.
Check the insulation, continuity and the absence of interference resistance on the following connections:
●3KQ between components 120 and 272,
●3SH between components 120 and 272.
If the connection(s) are faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or
Technical Note 9804A (Dacia), Repairing electrical wiring, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the wiring,
otherwise replace it.
Measure the resistance of the air temperature sensor between connections 3KQand 3SH.
If the resistance of the air temperature sensor is not between:
8623 < X < 10455 at -10°C,
1936 < X < 2176 at 25°C,
763 < X < 857 at 50°C,
212 < X < 406 at 80°C.
Replace the air temperature sensor if the resistance is not correct.

Check the insulation, continuity and the absence of interference resistance on the following connections:

Check for earth on connection 38U on the refrigerant pressure sensor connector, component code 1202.
If the connection(s) are faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or
Technical Note 9804A (Dacia), Repairing electrical wiring, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the wiring,
otherwise replace it.
Check the insulation, continuity and the absence of interference resistance on the following connections:

Conditions for applying the fault finding procedure to a stored fault:
Apply the fault finding procedure below if the fault is present or stored.
Check that brake switch works correctly by displaying ET039 Brake pedal.
Check the connection and condition of the brake light switch connector, component code160.
Check the connection and condition of the injection computer connector, component code 120.
If the connectors are faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or Technical
Note 9804A (Dacia), Electrical wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the connector, otherwise
replace the wiring.
Check for + 12 V on the supply of the brake light switch on connections AP1 or AP10.
If the connection(s) are faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or

otherwise replace it.

Refitting).
If none of the faults identifying the defective injector circuit are present:
– Switch off the ignition.
– Reconnect one of the four injectors.
– Switch on the ignition again.
If the fault reappears as present, replace the reconnected injector (see MR 388
(Logan/Sandero), MR 451 (Duster), MR 423 (Thalia 2/Symbol 2) or MR 374
(Kangoo VLL), Mechanical, 13B, Diesel injection, Diesel injector: Removal –
Refitting).
Carry out the same procedure for the remaining injectors.

Check for + 12 V (after relay) on connection 3FB (or 3FB2) of the fuel flow actuator connector, component code
1105.
If the connection is faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or Technical
Note 9804A (Dacia), Electrical wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the wiring, otherwise
replace it.
Check the insulation, continuity and the absence of interference resistance on the following connection:
●3HI between components 120 and 1105.
If the connection is faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or Technical
Note 9804A (Dacia), Electrical wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the wiring, otherwise
replace it.
Measure the resistance between connections 3FB (or 3FB2) and 3HI of the flow actuator, component code 1105.
If the resistance of the flow actuator is not between:
4.8 < X < 5.8 at 20°C, replace the flow actuator.
Check the presence and conformity of fuel in the tank.
Apply test 13 Diesel fuel conformity check.
Run test 1 Low pressure circuit check.
