Uconnect® SETTINGS
The Uconnect® system uses a combination of soft and
hard keys located on the center of the instrument panel
that allows you to access and change the customer
programmable features.
Hard-Keys
Hard-Keys are located below the Uconnect® system in
the center of the instrument panel. In addition, there is a
Scroll/Enter control knob located on the right side of the
Climate Controls in the center of the instrument panel.
Turn the control knob to scroll through menus and
change settings (i.e., 30, 60, 90), press the center of the
control knob one or more times to select or change a
setting (i.e., ON, OFF).
Your Uconnect® system may also have a Screen Off and
Back hard-keys located below the system.Press the Screen Off hard-key to turn off the Uconnect®
screen. Press the Screen Off hard-key a second time to
turn the screen on.
Press the Back hard-key to exit out of a Menu or certain
option on the Uconnect® system.
Soft-Keys
Soft-Keys are accessible on the Uconnect® display.
Customer Programmable Features — Uconnect® 8.4
Settings
Press the Apps soft-key, then press the Settings soft-key
to display the menu setting screen. In this mode the
Uconnect® system allows you to access programmable
features that may be equipped such as Display, Clock,
Safety/Assistance, Lights, Doors & Locks, Auto-On
Comfort & Remote Start, Engine Off Operation, Compass
Settings, Audio, Phone/Bluetooth and SiriusXM Setup.

To make your selection, touch the AUX Volume Match
soft-key, select On or Off followed by pressing the arrow
back soft-key.
•Loudness — If Equipped
The Radio automatically turns on when vehicle is in run
or will recall whether it was on or off at last ignition off.
To make your selection, touch the Loudness soft-key,
select On or Off followed by pressing the arrow back
soft-key.
Phone/Bluetooth
After pressing the Phone/Bluetooth soft-key the follow-
ing settings will be available.
• Paired Devices
This feature shows which phones are paired to the
Phone/Bluetooth system. For further information, refer
to the Uconnect® User’s Manual. Air Suspension – If Equipped
After pressing the Suspension soft-key the following
settings will be available.
•
Sound Horn with Remote Lower
When this feature is selected, a short horn sound will
occur when the RKE transmitter REMOTE LOWER but-
ton is pressed. Touch the box next to your selection and
a check-mark appears next to the feature showing the
system has been activated or the check-mark is removed
showing the system has been deactivated..
• Flash Lights with Remote Lower
When this feature is selected, the front and rear turn
signals will flash when the RKE transmitter REMOTE
LOWER button is pressed twice. This feature may be
selected with or without the sound horn on lower feature
selected. Touch the box next to your selection and a
check-mark appears next to the feature showing the

Front Blower Control
There are four blower speeds. Use this
control to regulate the amount of air
forced through the system in any
mode you select. The blower speed
increases as you move the control
clockwise from the OFF position.
NOTE: For vehicles equipped with Remote Start, the
climate controls will not function during Remote Start
operation if the blower control is left in the OFF position.
Temperature Control
Use this control to regulate the tem-
perature of the air inside the passenger
compartment. Rotating the knob coun-
terclockwise, from top center into the
blue area of the scale, indicates cooler
temperatures. Rotating the knob clock-
wise, into the red area, indicates
warmer temperatures.
Air Conditioning Operation
Push the A/C button to engage the Air
Conditioning (A/C). A LED will illu-
minate when the A/C system is
engaged.

6. Blower Control
Blower control is used to regulate the amount of air
forced through the climate system. There are seven
blower speeds available. Adjusting the blower will cause
automatic mode to switch to manual operation. The
speeds can be selected using either hard-keys or soft-keys
as follows:
Hard-key
The blower speed increases as you turn the control
clockwise from the lowest blower setting. The blower
speed decreases as you turn the knob counter-clockwise.
Soft-key
Use the small blower icon to reduce the blower setting
and the large blower icon to increase the blower setting.
Blower can also be selected by pressing the blower bar
area between the icons.7. Climate Control OFF Button
Press and release this button to turn the Climate Control
ON/OFF.
8. Temperature Control Down Button
Push the button for cooler temperature settings. On the
touch-screen, slide the temperature bar towards the blue
arrow soft-key for cooler temperature settings.
9. Temperature Control Up Button
Push the button for warmer temperature settings. On the
touch-screen, slide the temperature bar towards the blue
arrow soft-key for cooler temperature settings.
Recirculation Control
When outside air contains smoke, odors, or
high humidity, or if rapid cooling is desired,
you may wish to recirculate interior air by

9. Passenger Temperature Controls

the red arrow soft-key for warmer temperature settings
or slide the temperature bar towards the blue arrow
soft-key for cooler temperature settings.
