Lane Departure Warning (LDW).
Activated and deactivated via a button in
the centre console, the Lane Departure
Warning
system uses a camera to iden -
tify
both lane markings and operates
at speeds in excess of 65 km/ h. If the
vehicle is threatening to stray outside the
lane, an acoustic warning signal sounds.
If Lane Departure Warning is activated,
this is indicated in the multi-purpose
d isp lay.
Optional for all Cayenne models.
Lane Change Assist (LCA).
Lane Change Assist (LCA) monitors the
area behind the vehicle and the blind
spot using radar sensors. At speeds
bet ween 30 and 210 km/ h, the system
alerts the driver of a vehicle in the blind
spot or approaching quickly from behind
via a visual signal from the exterior mir -
rors. This enhances comfort and safet y,
particularly when driving on the motor -
way. However, LCA does not actively
intervene in the controlling of the vehicle
and can be deactivated at any time.
Optional for all Cayenne models.
