open or if an electronic key has beenleft inside the vehicle, the central locking does not take place. When the vehicle is locked, if it is unlocked inadver tently, it will relock automatically after about thir ty seconds unless a door is opened.
The folding and unfolding of the door mirrors by the remote control can be deactivated by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Deadlocking
Deadlocking renders the exterior and
interior door controls inoperative. It also deactivates the manual centralcontrol button. Therefore, never leave anyone inside the vehicle when it is deadlocked.
Deadlocking is confirmed by fixedlighting of the direction indicators for approximately two seconds.
Depending on version, the door mirrors fold at the same time.
Using the key

Turn the key to the rear in the driver's door lock to lock the vehicle completely. )
Turn the key to the rear again within five seconds to deadlock the vehicle.
Using the remote control
)Press the closed padlock to lock
the vehicle completely.

Electronic engine immobiliser
The key contains an electronic chip which has
a special code. When the ignition is switched on, this code must be recognised in order for starting to be possible.
This electronic engine immobiliser locks theengine management system a few minutes
after the ignition is switched off and preventsstar ting of the engine by anyone who does not
have the key.
Folding the key
)First press this button to fold the key.
)Press the closed padlock tolocate your locked vehicle in a car park.
Locating your vehicle
This is indicated by lighting of the cour tesy
lamps and flashing of the direction indicators
for a few seconds.
Guide-me-home
lighting
Make a long press this button to
operate the
guide-me-home lighting (switching on the sidelamps, dipped
beams and number plate lamps).
A second press before the end of the timed
period cancels the guide-me-home lighting.
Anti-theft protection
In the event of a fault, you are
informed by illumination of this
warning lamp, an audible signal and a message
in th
e screen.
In this case, your vehicle will not start; contact
a PEUGEOT dealer as soon as possible.
If you do not press the button when folding the key, there is a risk of damageto the mechanism.
Keep safely the label attached to the keys given to you on acquisition of thevehicle.
