Practical information
To replace a fuse, you must: )use the special tweezer to extract the fuse
from its housing and check the condition of
its filament.)always replace the failed fuse with a fuse
of the same rating (same colour); using a
different rating could cause faults (risk of fire).
If the fuse fails again soon after replacement, have the vehicle's electrical system checked bya PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.


Changing a fuse

Before changing a fuse:
)the cause of the failure must be identified and rectified, )all electrical consumers must be switched
off,)the vehicle must be immobilised with the
ignition off,)identify the failed fuse using the tables and
layout drawings in the following pages.Good Failed
PEUGEOT will not accept responsibilityfor the cost incurred in repairing your vehicle or for rectifying malfunctions resulting from the installation of accessories not supplied and not
recommended by PEUGEOT andnot installed in accordance with itsinstructions, in par ticular when the combined consumption of all of the additional equipment connectedexceeds 10 milliamperes.

Practical information
System which manages the duration of use of certain functions to retain a sufficient level of charge in the battery.
After the engine has stopped, you can still use functions such as the audio and telematics
s
ystem, windscreen wipers, dipped beam headlamps, cour tesy lamps, etc. for a maximum combined duration of about thir ty minutes.








Electrical energy economy mode
Switching to economy mode
Once this time has elapsed, a message appears in the screen indicating that the vehiclehas switched to economy mode and the active
functions are put on standby.
If a telephone call is being made at this time, it
will be maintained for around 10 minutes with
the Bluetooth hands-free system of your audio
system.


Exiting economy mode

These functions are reactivated automatically
next time the vehicle is driven.) To restore these functions immediately,start the engine and let it run for at least five minutes.

A flat battery prevents the engine from starting (refer to the correspondingsection).









Load reduction mode

System which manages the use of cer tain
functions according to the level of charge
remaining in the battery.
When the vehicle is bein
g driven, the load
reduction function temporarily deactivates certain functions, such as the air conditioning,
the heated rear screen...
The deactivated functions are reactivated
automatically as soon as conditions permit.

Checks
12 V battery


The battery does not require any maintenance.
However, check that the terminals are clean
and correctly tightened, particularly in summer and winter.
The presence of this label, in particular with
the Stop & Star t system, indicates the use of
a specific 12 V lead-acid battery with special
technology and specification. The involvement
of a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop is essential when replacing or disconnecting
the battery.
Particle emissions filter (Diesel)

The start of saturation of thepar ticle filter is indicated bythe fixed illumination of this warning lamp
accompanied by a warning message in the screen (if a display screen is fitted).
As soon as the traffic conditions permit,
regenerate the filter by driving at a speed of at
least 40 mph (60 km/h) until the warning lampgoes off.
If the warning lamp stays on, this indicates a
low additive level.

On a new vehicle, the first par ticlefilter regeneration operations may be accompanied by a "burnt" smell, whichis perfectly normal.
Following prolonged operation of the vehicle at very low speed or at idle, you may, in exceptional circumstances,notice the emission of water vapour at the exhaust on acceleration. This does not affect the behaviour of the vehicle or the environment. Unless other wise indicated, check these components in accordance with the ser vicin
g and warranty booklet and according to your engine. Other wise, have them checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Air filter and passenger compartment filter
Refer to the servicing and warranty
booklet for details of the replacement
inter vals for these components.
Oil filter
Replace the oil filter each time theengine oil is changed.
Refer to the ser vicing and warranty
booklet for details of the replacement
interval for this component. When carr
ying out work on the battery, refer
to the "12 V battery" section for details of theprecautions to be taken before disconnecting
the battery and following its reconnection. Dependin
g on the environment (e.g. dusty
atmosphere) and the use of the vehicle(e.g. city driving), replace them twice as oftenif necessary.y A clogged passenger compartment filter may
have an adverse effect on the performance
of the air conditioning system and generateundesirable odours.

EMERGENCY OR ASSISTANCE CALL
In an emergency, press this button for more than2 seconds. Flashing of the green LED and a voice
message confi rm that the call has been made to the
PEUGEOT CONNECT SOS call centre * .
The
green LED remains on (without fl ashing) when communication is established. It goes off at the end of communication.

When the ignition is switched on, the green
LED comes on for 3 seconds indicating that
the system is operating correctly. Pressin
g this button again immediately cancels the request.
The cancellation is confi rmed b
y a voice message.
Press this button for more than 2 seconds to request
assistance if the vehicle breaks down.
A voice message confi rms that the call has been made **
.


OPERATION OF THE SYSTEM Pressing this button again immediately cancels the request. The green LED goes off. Cancellation is confi rmed by a voice message .
To cancel a call, tell the PEUGE
OT CONNECT SOS call centre that thecall was a mistake.
PEUGE
OT CONNECT SOS immediately locates your vehicle, starts communication with you in your language ** , and where necessary sends
the appropriate public emergency services ** . In countries where theservice is not available, or when the locating service has been expresslydeclined, the call sent directly to the emergency services (11 2) without the
vehicle location.

If an impact is detected b
y the airbag control unit, and
independently of the deployment of any airbags, an emergency call
is made automatically.
